“Enjoyed this clean comfortable home. The lake access area is also clean, open and easy to get our kayaks in and out of the water. Using the golf cart was a bonus!”

“We did our Family Vacation here at the Lake. This house was perfect. We rented a pontoon boat from Conrad Brothers. The sunset cruises we took were surreal. The house has had lots of space for all of us!”

“This trip was absolutely what my husband and I needed! The Airbnb is gorgeous, including the surrounding area. The river water is crystal clear so it was so fun to float and watch all the fish. We saw lots of wild life as well!”

“Beautiful view from the house, very secluded but easy to get to everywhere. Spacious home with beautiful views of the mountains sitting on a private lot, and very close to downtown. Looks like the house was not used for a while as there were dead bugs everywhere. Master bedroom has skylights which made it difficult to sleep after 6:00am. The bedroom on the main level dint have any blinds either.”

“Very private setting for being so close to town. We appreciated the last-minute booking option. We felt a bit distrusted when we were contacted about our dog. My husband came to pick us up and let the dog out of the car into the driveway to stretch her legs. The host's camera's picked up the presence of a dog and we were subsequently questioned us about her presence there. We were reminded of the no dog policy and asked to confirm that we understand the policy and confirm that we have not allowed dogs into the home. It made us feel like we were under suspicion and far less welcome. The cameras clearly showed no entry by the dog into the home, so we appreciated them backing off when we explained and reassured. But it spiked my blood pressure in the middle of an already-difficult time. Listing does indicate that there are cameras outside the property but it still makes you feel weird about the privacy of your stay. Every time I stepped out to take a walk I knew I was being watched.”

“This is advertised as waterfront with dock for swimming, kayaks, direct access. I know no one controls Mother Nature, but it helps when someone requests to book to tell them that there is a drought, there is no water, and the nearest community dock is 30mins away. Also, while guests are on site no yard maintenance should be done. We tried to picnic on the porch and a contractor just came into the yard cutting the grass and shooting it on the deck getting it in our food and ruining breakfast. There also were no eateries within 20 mins. Clean little place but nothing to do with the water bone dry and being so far from restaurants or public access to the water.”

“WiFi didn’t work and was unable to connect to their (cheap/outdated) hot spot with any Apple products to do my work. Their AI chatbot was not helpful in resolving the issue. There were no updates about contacting the service provider (e.g., they called or sent an email and awaiting a response), only something along the lines of “thank you for your patience!” This would otherwise have been a great AirBNB venue. The view of the mountains was awesome, and for some reason the hotspot did work for the smart TV upstairs but was out of range for the one in the basement. Overall, I was disappointed.”

“I want to be really honest about this. There’s some good and not so good. The actual owner of this house seems like a great guy. When I had a couple of issues with the cleanliness, he reached out to me personally. The house is nice and location is great. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of amenities to keep you occupied. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of extra towels and bedding if needed. I did have to do some work myself because the bathtub had not been cleaned and the shower curtain was hanging off the rails and was covered in mildew. There’s a few other small things, but nothing too serious. But like I said, the owner reached out to me personally and apologized and reimbursed me. A+ on his part. But these people he’s hiring to run this are failing him. The hosts communication was very generic and vague. I’m pretty sure it was just an AI program responding, or at least that’s what it seemed like. Lots of apologies, but no resolutions so I finally bought stuff to clean myself.”
