Blue Creek Cabins's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The cabin is Nice, great location comfortable bed. Some issues. The tub was clogged the washer didn't work and we had to have somone come fix it which the host had happen the next morning. It ended up not wanting to work again but eventually worked.. We didn't want to have the handy man come out again because... vacation! When we first got to the property.. so many spiders. Yes, we are in the woods but why not take them down before a check in. There were spiders all over the outdoor firepit area chairs..etc The hammocks were dirty which you would think all would be wiped down prior to checking in. Same as the deck with the hottub. My husband used the broom to take down a ton of spiders & webs around just to use it. The couch pillows smelled like BO we just put them to the side.. No window treatments on the sliding doors to the back patio, in the bathroom upstairs. The toliet upstairs had mold on it to which we cleaned ourselves. The fridge is wobbly.. Tvs didn't want to load anything.”airbnb

“It was a nice cabin not far from Helen, GA, comfortable and clean, nice deck with a hot tub, everything you need but just make sure you're dead set on your plans when booking because they will not compromise with any sort of rescheduling!”airbnb

“Stayed 4 nights. Condo was comfortable. Bathroom needs a serious update. Toilet too low to floor, shower is dated and no water pressure. Outside deck would have been nice but was full of leaves and insects.”airbnb

“The resident was well suited for my family of 5. More than enough room and as advertised. However, the printed address in listed as 53 Elm Rd should have been 53 Elm Ridge Dr. We followed the listed address and ended up at a petting zoo 20 minutes away. This was a bit unnerving since cell coverage is spotty. We were able to self correct by clicking the link. Once we arrived the TV was on. This also gave us pause as if someone was in the unit. Lastly, I'd recommend the host leaving more soap. We requested more but we decided to buys some from the local Walmart. We tried the sauna in the basement but the couldn't get it to work. Pass that the resident suited our needs well.”airbnb

“One of the main reasons we booked this Airbnb was because the listing described it as being within walking distance, but we did not find that to be accurate. The walk was much longer than expected and did not feel safe, especially since the property is in a wooded area and has a lot of wildlife so be careful if you plan to walk at night. The home also had several maintenance and cleanliness issues. There was visible water damage, a strong urine odor in the bathroom, stains on the couch, and the house felt very humid. The dehumidifier was completely full when we arrived and the humidifier needed to be emptied. The listing also advertised bicycles, but they were very old and rusted. One had a flat tire, making them unusable during our visit. We politely asked the host if we could check out early due to these issues, but our request was denied, so we had to contact Airbnb Support for assistance. If the home is properly deep cleaned, then it would be a relaxing stay but plan on driving.”airbnb

“There was a lot of spiderwebs in the hot tub and throughout the whole house”airbnb

“we definitely stayed during an “off season” at helen. probably would have been better during oktoberfest. some things down town strip were closed or they closed really early! it was so beautiful having the patio face the river. April can be hard to decide when to be by the water because the weather is nice but water is still cold! We made the most of this trip by visiting a really nice winery 🍷 I do wish that the owners would have given us a heads up about the complex doing renovation next door.our first morning was pretty loud and couldn’t enjoy the quiet morning - on a kid free weekend. also, the place had a strong smell- i’m guessing from the fire burning. i think that could have been noted too - it was very thick air to breath inside the place. would’ve bee. nice in the winter! but thank you Blue creek - we will try again! we checked in late friday and huddle house was the only thing open S/O to the staff at Huddle house they were great too!!”airbnb

“We went to the address listed on air bnb. It was not right and was actually a cabin already booked and occupied. After finding our cabin, I let them know the address was wrong, the host said “they don’t give the right address on air bnb due to security reasons, obviously.” Why put an address to someone else’s cabin if it’s a security risk to put the address to the empty cabin I rented? The loose dirt and gravel roads were not safe for a motorcycle which was a big reason I was there. When I informed them they said “there is something listed about that on their own business page and they don’t control what air bnb posts but I will be fine if I ride on the side of the road. The washer did not work. I told them this and they said “sorry for the inconvenience” and nothing more after that. Overall I made sure to enjoy my time there but these instances combined with communication feeling like I was talking to an annoyed 20 yo added a bit of stress to my week vacation.”airbnb

“Was difficult to locate but a very cute cabin. Over priced when the main reason we booked was the hot tub we reported our concern and the tech that came out couldn't do anything for it and recommended we request a refund. We did this and was insulted with pocket change for a refund. With my condition a hot tub is therapeutic and necessary so beware if a hot tub is a priority this might not be the unit for you.”airbnb

“Communication with the property management team was frustrating and felt very unprofessional at times. The cabin itself is nice, but the hot tub cover was worn and split, which kept it from heating properly. Also be aware the driveway and surrounding hills are very steep and could be challenging for some vehicles, especially after dark or in bad weather.”airbnb
