Blue Creek Cabins

“The place accomadated our family of 13 very well, with enough bathrooms, game room, and kitchen / dining so we could all eat together. One big breakfast and one big Dinner.. (great family time)”

“It's a great time to relax with children or parents. Walking paths, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Games for children. Beautiful nature with a river and a lake near the house. We had a great time and will definitely come back again.”

“The cabin was beautiful. In the living room there is only one set of blinds for about seven windows. There are some trees between the cabins but at night it is very visible. I would highly recommend them getting blinds for the living room. The hot tub was clean, cabin was very peaceful. The floors were sticky as well as the kitchen table and coffee table( possibly the cleaning solution or lack of cleaning?).”

“we definitely stayed during an “off season” at helen. probably would have been better during oktoberfest. some things down town strip were closed or they closed really early! it was so beautiful having the patio face the river. April can be hard to decide when to be by the water because the weather is nice but water is still cold! We made the most of this trip by visiting a really nice winery 🍷 I do wish that the owners would have given us a heads up about the complex doing renovation next door.our first morning was pretty loud and couldn’t enjoy the quiet morning - on a kid free weekend. also, the place had a strong smell- i’m guessing from the fire burning. i think that could have been noted too - it was very thick air to breath inside the place. would’ve bee. nice in the winter! but thank you Blue creek - we will try again! we checked in late friday and huddle house was the only thing open S/O to the staff at Huddle house they were great too!!”

“We went to the address listed on air bnb. It was not right and was actually a cabin already booked and occupied. After finding our cabin, I let them know the address was wrong, the host said “they don’t give the right address on air bnb due to security reasons, obviously.” Why put an address to someone else’s cabin if it’s a security risk to put the address to the empty cabin I rented? The loose dirt and gravel roads were not safe for a motorcycle which was a big reason I was there. When I informed them they said “there is something listed about that on their own business page and they don’t control what air bnb posts but I will be fine if I ride on the side of the road. The washer did not work. I told them this and they said “sorry for the inconvenience” and nothing more after that. Overall I made sure to enjoy my time there but these instances combined with communication feeling like I was talking to an annoyed 20 yo added a bit of stress to my week vacation.”

“Was difficult to locate but a very cute cabin. Over priced when the main reason we booked was the hot tub we reported our concern and the tech that came out couldn't do anything for it and recommended we request a refund. We did this and was insulted with pocket change for a refund. With my condition a hot tub is therapeutic and necessary so beware if a hot tub is a priority this might not be the unit for you.”

“Communication with the property management team was frustrating and felt very unprofessional at times. The cabin itself is nice, but the hot tub cover was worn and split, which kept it from heating properly. Also be aware the driveway and surrounding hills are very steep and could be challenging for some vehicles, especially after dark or in bad weather.”

“The cabin is great!! But i got to the cabin and it was never clean from last guest!! I do want to mentioned that i was offer a credit and they send someone within an hour.”
