Bender Vacation Rentals

Bender Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Place was amazing! Perfect for a family of 5. My only suggestions would be to have enough toilet paper for a larger family who is staying for an extended time. I did have to run out and grab extra as we ran out before and the office said they do not accommodate for more.

Condo was ok, the beds were so uncomfortable and hard. Water pours underneath the microwave onto the stove. They scheduled a showing while we were there, condo is listed for sale. It could use a deep cleaning. Parking fee, I was told one vehicle was included in my booking, I was later told that is was not included and had to pay $120 to park for two vehicles. I won’t book through this agency in the future, overall the stay was just ok.

condo was outdated and not very clean. Patio furniture was dated with missing or damaged cushions. there was a bloody towel in the main bathroom hanging up. Not a great experience.

Great location, Great set-up. There was no hairdryer (and no offer to provide one), paper/soap supplies and kitchen prep/cooking equipment were minimal.

Pros: It’s a very good location, close to the hangout and main area. View is great! Beds and pillows are very comfortable! I slept so well. Cons: Everything was very basic. No extras provide such as salt/pepper, coffee, sweetener, etc. Older condo that needs updates. Couch was very odd and unfortunately. Staff was unhelpful when running into issues. The kitchen sink had a very bad smell coming from it. No chairs or umbrellas are provided so bring your own or there are some to rent down at the beach. I do feel like the condo itself could have been cleaned better. The rugs were very gross. Overall, I wouldn’t book again, but it served its purpose for this last minute vacation!

Location and rental were great! If you have something wrong, you get directed around to numerous places. Needs to be fixed.

Great location, house in good condition. Comfortable living areas and bedrooms. Only wished for a better equipped kitchen and more supplies like toilet paper, dishwasher soap

There were a few positives—we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom, and when we reported the filthy floors, housekeeping was sent back promptly. However, the condo was not clean when we arrived. Within minutes of crawling, our baby's hands, knees, and feet were black, and much of the silverware and cookware had to be washed before use. Several items, including a living room chair, also needed updating or repair. Our biggest concern was a serious billing error. While purchasing a parking pass, nearly $2,900 was mistakenly withdrawn from our bank account due to a "system glitch." The money wasn't returned for four days, leaving us without our vacation funds and causing overdraft fees when scheduled bills drafted. Although the staff apologized, there was no follow-up or effort to make things right. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. Unfortunately, this experience left us more stressed than rested.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. We were traveling as a family with two babies, so cleanliness was especially important to us. We noticed MOLD in multiple areas, including on the shower curtains, in the closet area, and on the ceilings. There were also smudges on several walls and doors that made the home feel like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The hallway bathroom was noticeably dusty, and the toilet seat in that bathroom was broken. The property had potential, but the overall cleanliness and maintenance did not meet our expectations, especially for a family traveling with young children. I hope the host addresses these issues so future guests can have a better experience P.S. The photos on the Airbnb listing did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. They did not show the mold, dust, broken toilet seat, or other maintenance and cleanliness issues we encountered during our stay, so the home appeared to be in much better condition online than it was in

Upon booking they ask for your email and phone number. Don’t give it to them. They say they need your email to send you information but they used it to add me their spam email list which I’ve had to unsubscribe twice to now. They will only communicate via text and will not respond on the app when I texted “please only communicate through the app”. They messaged me over a week after booking to request an additional $150 for a pet fee even though my booking was confirmed with a pet. The beach picture with a pin is only showing where the beach is in relation to the house. The access is not available directly across the street. Thankfully it is a short walk to the entrance but it is misleading. The house is older but pleasant.
