“House is clean and close to Privates beach. We found it hard to get quick responses from Beachnest Vacation rentals via AirBnB as I don’t think it’s their main place for advertising the rental house.”

“I just feel like , water the lawn . Allow smoking outside , keep up w the care on the landscape ; create an atmosphere. Not just a few good pictures , but a vibe .”

“The location was fantastic. Natural Bridges is a Great beach for the little ones. The house was the perfect size for us. The outdoor fire pit however did not have gas so we were unable to enjoy it during the evenings. The bbq was not clean underneath and caught fire while grilling our chicken so we decided to go out for our next dinner instead of cooking the burgers we brought and avoiding another bbq fire. And we saw the wd-40 too late to spray the door hinges in the bedrooms that squeaked. But knowing these things I would rent here again as we had a wonderful time and a great family reunion.”

“The location is excellent, just steps from the beach and about a 5–10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants in town. The living room has large windows with beautiful ocean views that make the home feel bright and relaxing. The home itself is a bit dated. The furniture and TVs could use updating, and we were unable to get one TV working. Our biggest issue was the stove. I understand appliances can fail, but after I reported that it wasn’t working and that I smelled gas, responses often took many hours, and I was simply told not to use it. No one came to inspect or repair it during our stay. This significantly impacted our trip because my son has special dietary needs, and we had planned to cook meals with groceries we had purchased. Instead, we had to eat out for most meals. For the price of this property, I expected working amenities and more responsive communication when problems arose. Overall beautiful location, poor hospitality.”

“Beautiful solid home in nice location, but mgmt needs to invest in new furniture, pillows, throw blankets, etc. Pantry wasn’t cleaned out, etc. So many little things and details were not taken care. Mgmt should put emphasis on guest experience. It did have lots of kitchen, dishes and supplies and a nice washer and dryer. It’s a beautiful home. I just didn’t feel it was managed very well. I wouldn’t stay here again as is. It’s just not what I expected from such a beautiful home.”

“The house was beautiful and easily accommodated a group of six adults and two little children. Great location, and the hosts allowed us to add an extra day up front at a discounted rate. Communication with the host wasn’t great through. They weren’t responsive to messages sent over the Airbnb app, and missed some of our questions over the text line as well. They also told us there was not any baby gear on-site, so we packed extra, and then discovered a pack and play and high chair when we got there.”

“Our group had a wonderful and enjoyable stay. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable - walking distance to Seacliff Beach, restaurants and local playground. Kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio deck in the early evenings. Only slight gripe is the 10am check-out, especially since it’s paired with 4pm check-in.”

“I don't like low star reviews. My issue is the price and communication. I have stayed in a home less than 1 block from this house, at essentially the same price point, and there's a difference. The other had been upgraded with more attention to details for renters. Had this been less I would give it a higher score, except for whoever was handling Airbnb's "message your host". When we arrived, and after a long drive, I went to the bathroom - no TP, I asked my husband to get some from the other bathroom - none. No TP, paper towels or dish sponges. I might have written that off as a cleaning crew error except the reply to my message took 22hrs. I'm glad I wasn't locked out.”

“Location was incredible & price was awesome compared to the prices around it. We loved the multiple areas to hangout. I understand beach houses provide more stuff for people to use than a traditional air bnb but it felt impossible to get totally clean with how packed the cabinets and drawers were. When we arrived appliances and electronics were unplugged… the dishwasher and a lot of the remotes had dead batteries. We enjoyed our time, but at times it felt like nobody had been there for months.”
