“Great location!”

“Great stay! Is located on a busy road and a short drive to the beach but easy to walk into town and that area and super great deal for the size of house and nice rooms”

“There’s AC but it does nothing to cool the house because there are only a few vents that actually move the air around. The top floor is complete unusable so there go 2 bedrooms. The bottom floor is more usable but still incredibly hot during the daytime. Hosts are cheap; AC was set to 80 when we arrived late at night and we were sweltering. Took hours to cool off and only because we opened the doors. Everything is cheap and looks unmaintained. Remote to the TV is unusable. The two sets of shades for the front windows need to be pulled down by a rod with a rusty nail precariously hanging off the side. Another set of shades hangs on a precariously weak curtain rod. The giant skylight looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and has filth piled up on it. The countertops all feel like they have soot on them. The garage is incredibly narrow so no one ended up parking in it. The location and view is obviously great but after that wears off this place is just annoying to stay at.”

“First off - the place is beautiful and well taken care of, despite clearly aging. Second - the view is amazing. The sound of the ocean surreal. Kitchen well appointed. But. You are right on top of another party in the condo below you. And it’s awkward. They look at you, you look at them. It’s like having uninvited guests crash your party, for either group. My only other issue were the constant texts from the managing company about noise complaints; threatening to escalate the situation if it wasn’t addressed immediately. I was on the trip with my 80yo parents. We were all asleep, texts were coming thru at 130a and waking me up.. The other party, in the condo below, was making noise - not enough to keep us up, mind you - So that was very frustrating.”

“The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and the location itself had so much potential, which makes this review disappointing to write. We booked this stay to celebrate my in-laws’ 50th anniversary and truly wanted it to feel special for them. Unfortunately, the condition and cleanliness of the home did not match expectations. Multiple bathroom doors would not properly latch or lock, which created privacy concerns for our group. The sinks in the Cape bathroom were clogged, the master shower drained poorly, and the shower handle actually broke off during our stay. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The couch and dining chairs appeared very dirty, there was a used dental floss pick left behind in one bathroom, and our ceiling fan had thick layers of dust buildup. Again, the ocean view was stunning, but the maintenance and housekeeping problems took away from what should have been a memorable family celebration.”

“Great views and amazing location! The deck was great but the house needed some better cleaning. We found human hair on pillows and along bathroom floor board. Several appliances were difficult to use (no instructions) and the ceiling fan light did not work. Reached out to host and they were slow to respond (the following day) and they never went back to exchange the lightbulb after saying they would.”

“We picked this place mainly for 3 reasons , 1) Beach front - which is great 2) Jacuzzi- Not in working condition and we are so disappointed 3) Fire pit - low gas , unfortunately maintenance team didn’t fill and couldn’t enjoy to the fullest”

“Our initial walk-in was absolutely overwhelming. It was so beautiful. Beautiful home beautiful furniture however, the mattresses all could be changed out. They’re not very comfortable. In addition, the couch, dining room, chairs, beds, bed frames showers. They were all dirty. It wasn’t dusty and it had been mopped. However, it really really needs a deep cleaning shower walls need to be wiped down. There was old conditioner and shampoo stuck on it. And one of the bedrooms, the white headboard and footboard were filthy dirty we did go in with Clorox wipes however it needs a deep cleaning. The location was amazing the house like I said is beautiful. It just needs a really really good cleaning and new mattresses.”

“I have mixed feelings about our stay. To start with the positives: the location is incredible, the views are world-class, and the home was perfectly clean upon arrival. It is a great space for a large group to gather. However, the property is currently suffering from significant maintenance and safety issues that made it difficult to relax: The outdoor furniture is aged and cheap. Most concerningly, the outdoor dining table top is loose from the base, making it hazardous for a family with children. Most of the showers have dials that spin endlessly, resulting in sudden bursts of scalding water. I had to closely monitor my children’s baths to ensure they weren't burned; this is a major liability that needs immediate repair. The indoor furniture is very dated and heavily used. It lacks the comfort and "luxury" feel you’d expect at this price point. Bottom line, you are paying for the view here, not the house. Next time we won't be staying here.”
