Beach Time Vacation Rentals
4.57Visit website
Beach Time Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.57 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Very dog friendly and spacious unit. Not exactly easy walk to the beach but it was very close drive to fun activities for the kids (go karts, Schlitterbahn, Moody, etc)”airbnb

“Upon arrival, when first walking in the condo was amazing, just as it was pictured and described. The kids kicked off their shoes and walked around inside, looking at everything within the first 5 mins; their socks were completely brown from the floors.....gross! Then, in the main bedroom, we found hair on the sheets and pillow. I did contact someone on the app, and they came and changed the sheets. The patio was wonderful, but they did have some issues when you first walk out the door; that section was holding water from somewhere. You could tell it had been patched. It was a slip hazard the majority of the time there. All in all, it was good could have been better, but the view was spectacular.”airbnb

“We loved our stay! Right across the street from the beach - which was never crowded. The pools are amazing! Appliances are new. If you're planning on cooking, bring your own seasonings and cooking oil (only salt and pepper provided). Our biggest issue was the beds - all 4 of us woke up with sore backs from not-the-best mattresses (including the pull out couch). Also, the room is far from an elevator so plan on getting your steps in with using the stairs!”airbnb

“The house was cute, clean, and tastefully decorated without feeling cluttered. We appreciated the beach towels that were provided. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by an issue with access to the Pointe West Beach Club. We were notified just two hours before check-in that there was “an issue” with the wristbands required to use the pools, restaurant, game room, and other amenities—one of the main reasons guests choose to stay in Pointe West. After arriving, we learned from Pointe West management that the property had lost Beach Club access due to unpaid HOA dues and that this had been known for several weeks. We were disappointed that neither the owner nor Airbnb updated the listing or notified us sooner, as the listing still implied access to these amenities. Thankfully, the Pointe West staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and we are very grateful for their kindness.”airbnb

“This beach house was smaller than advertised. The home is to accommodate max 10 people. We were there Thursday 03/19 through Sunday 03/22. We arrived to find 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in both restrooms, 2 bottles of Lipton green teas that were expired, no clothes detergent, used dishwashing scrub, the linens were not clean. Biggest issues 1. Trouble with the ac because it was on a schedule & kept hopping back to 84 degrees. 2. WiFi was not reachable and I had to troubleshoot to get some help. The office was very calm and didn’t seem to think any of this a problem. They said the supplies were at a minimum because we had 5 confirmed guests but I did state we could have more and we did. I ended up going to the store for more supplies. The lack of interest of these people is something I’ve never experienced in all my YEARS of vacation rentals. Never again.”airbnb

“The unit itself was ok, except the shower was not good. The problem is all the red tape, rules and fees, after you already charged your credit card and it's hard to get that back. A good 1 1/2 hours of forms and signing your legal life away, for only a few days' rental. Additional fees after you already paid the Airbnb price. Strict rules which seemed to be waiting to pounce on you with fines if you do anything wrong, even accidentally. The two issues I have now are, first, if the fees were all in the initial price to begin with, I would have chosen a different place. And second, they still haven't said that I'm off the hook for any additional fines, even though we left the unit clean and followed their instructions to the letter. It's a vacation, and now I'm stressing about that.”airbnb
