“Location was great! Accommodations were nice and suited our needs. Carpet and 2 couches need replacing! The dryer did not get hot when we needed to dry our laundry so we had to take our wet laundry home. Would return if those were to be rectified. Also no salt, pepper or olive oil there..”

“House is nice and spacious. Did not care for the bed arrangements in bedroom 2, and 3. No air conditioning… no ceiling fans… no bueno!”

“The place was great. Close to everything Pismo has to offer. Beds were comfortable. Could have used more washcloths. (Was only given two in the primary for a 4 day stay). There was noticeable pet hair upstairs and down even though it’s advertised as “no pets”. The refrigerator had a noticeable smell to it. Although there is an ice maker the bin had been removed.”

“Great location but home needs some maintenence. Multiple items from walls were missing, couch and fans broken, and alot of dust throughout the house. I especially was disappointed when the bunk beds were swapped out with a single mattress and box spring just on the floor. When I reached out the host they said they didnt even know about the switch and never followed up. Also trash was not taken out before our stay and was overflowing when we arrived.”

“If location is all you care about , this is the right place for you , the place it self is not toddler friendly and needs child safety gates for the stairs . ( may I didn’t read discripation correctly, but definitely not a child safe place ) when we arrived we noticed the floors were still sandy and dirty. Our keeps feet and socks were beyond dirty . They need a better cleaning service as the place was dusty in other places . The place is very outdated. Again , maybe ok for friends get away but not kids , family. It was very well located and close to great restaurants.”

“We enjoyed the views and the location of this property. Unfortunately, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing, especially considering the price. Upon checking in, we found more than 20 flying termites throughout the home. They landed on both me and my daughter, and we continued finding them on the staircase and upstairs over the next couple of days. I was also told that someone from the office would follow up with me, but I never heard back. Better communication and follow-up would have made a big difference. Another disappointment was the carpeting in the living room, which was heavily worn, stained and soiled in the main traffic areas. For the premium price of this rental, I expected the home to be cleaner and better maintained. Overall, the location and views were wonderful, but the termite activity, the condition of the carpeting, and the lack of follow-up prevented the experience from matching the price we paid. I hope these issues are addressed for future.”

“Kitchen had plenty of dishes, cups and utensils. The living room was well lit all day long. Refrigerator was roomy. It was difficult bringing suitcases and belongings up the L-shaped stairway from the garage. It was in the 60’s when we visited so the basement pool was uncomfortably cold. We had looked forward to using the pool during our stay but that was not to be. One bedroom had no mirror, bureau or closet, two bedside tables but only 1 lamp. Another bedroom had no bedside tables or lamp. Only the master bedroom had a TV. The drive to get to the home went past construction and we almost did not take the turn because it looked like the road was a dead-end with a dumpster and deep sand. I had asked for early check-in and was told to call the day before which I did. The young woman who answered the phone promised to call back with an answer but she did not. I left a message but had to leave later on the day of our arrival since I had not had confirmation.”

“The ceiling fans did not work and they said they would send someone next day to fix it as it was very hot and one of my guests has seizures if it’s too hot and no one ever came. The tv remotes also did not work and the washer dryer had black mold growing inside. When I brought this up to the owners, it took almost 2 weeks to get a response until I brought the issue up with Airbnb support and then they responded to me”

“Great location, very nice house. Directions were terrible. Was never given the gate code or garage code. Front door is hidden and the space is hard to find. Could not get the AC to turn on, extremely hot. The toilet downstairs was clogged when we got there.”

“Due to the fact that we had two of our main meals interrupted with the oven and the refrigerator and the microwave went out for our main dinner for our holiday special and then the lunch was interrupted for over an hour and a half due to the propane, not being full really interrupted our plans. I spoke with the AI thing that Airbnb set up. They didn’t give me any helpful information. Had to wait around and finally find a number that I could call the direct number. Don’t fill as if this was accurate. I was double charged from what the listing price was originally at which I was willing to pay, but after two of my main meals that I planned this event for or ruined and had to go out to eat due to the food was going to spoil really did put a damper on my situation. Beach bomb said I needed to reach out to Airbnb in regards to getting reimbursed on this.”
