Beach Blue Properties's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The space was as it was described. Very short walk to the beach. Beach service was available for purchase with restaurants and drinks near by. Only down side was patio furniture is in disrepair, and was not replaced as we were told prior to booking, so bring a lawn chair if you want to utilize the spacious patio.”airbnb

“The good: LOCATION! Right on the beach and so convenient. Trolley cards and golf cart! It was very CLEAN and cozy. Lots to do in the area! Kitchen was decently supplied with basic utensils, pans etc. It's a company, not an individual, so there aren't "extras". Although, there were beach chairs and boogie boards and some sand toys in the closet. What could be better: The beach is VERY crowded, more so than anticipated. The space is tight for 3-4 people. Would be great for a couple, single or couple with little ones, as the bunkroom is quite small (I have teens, so it wasn't optimal ;-). One sink, one bathroom. Updated flooring and tub/shower combo would be nice. I expected nicer for the price, but I suppose I was paying for the FABULOUS location! Note:The mugs (blue ones) are not microwave safe, but this isn't mentioned. I burned myself quite badly. Not a reason not to rent, but helpful to know.”airbnb

“It was not clear that it as a first floor condo until after we booked the unit. The internet service was not good . Could on get the bedroom tv to work correctly with getting sport events we were interested in watching. Great location and distance to beach. It is on the beach access for all of the resort so the beach area is extremely crowded.”airbnb

“Check-in was frustrating because we never received a link to purchase a parking pass. The property was not as cleaned as compared to other properties that we have used in the past. Not able to use the extra pillows and blanket because they were dirty. The view was perfect though!”airbnb

“We received a text message on our way, telling us that the golf cart was down and they were working to get it fixed. Do not book this place if you have handicap parents, golf cart was never fixed and we had to book my parents a different place to stay, because walking to and from was out of the question.”airbnb

“This oceanfront property has lots of potential but needs attention. We enjoyed being right on the Beach with close proximity to Baytown village and other restaurants. The pool was nice and the beach had easy private access. Unfortunately we cannot give this experience 5 stars which was requested by management. The actual accommodation was 3 stars at best. Our biggest complaints are the broken amenities, cleanliness of the room and the unusable patio. It’s shameful that an advertised luxury accommodation would offer a beachfront patio furnished with one low quality rusty bench with a faded, stained cushion on a camping beach mat. Absolutely unusable! Unfortunately cannot recommend this rental as advertised.”airbnb

“We loved the location and the condo, the only down fall was the floors were dirty everywhere we walked was sand (yes we know it’s going to happen) but it didn’t t looked like it got the proper cleaning after guest. We also had to wash bedding because they had sand all in the bedding and found hair. I messaged host and never got a response. It’s a beautiful place, we enjoyed it just hated we had to clean and wash bedding when we got there.”airbnb

“House was spacious and in a PERFECT LOCATION! We loved being right next to camp watercolor. Having a golf cart in this area makes vacation so fun! We loved going everywhere by golf cart, it makes parking in seaside way easier! The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is bc the house needed some upkeep. The railing leading up to the house was broken, the white chairs were stained, one set of blinds were broken, the rain chain was rusted through, outdoor furniture needs updated, etc. I would still stay here again, the place overall was clean, but for what you pay for these houses I expect a little more maintenance.”airbnb

“Place was ok besides these item. Owner wanted to show the property to a buyer before we checked in which was a red flag for me. Hard to control temperature. Remote control didn’t work in living room. Not enough face cloths and toiletries. Did not see another guess in the building during the entire stay for a week. That was weird. Security stalked me and my son in the community while we were out walking. Wasn’t a bad place to stay.”airbnb

“Not horrible but, I’m not sure we’d stay again. Positive notes: • check in was easy as well as check out. • the community is very cute! • the unit was very clean. Negative notes: • I was going to work from our room. We had no WiFi or TV our entire stay & when I reached out to the property management, they requested I reach out to the internet provider myself. I was asked different questions regarding the account that I couldn’t answer (obviously) then, was told we couldn’t even get anything fixed until after our checkout. • A/C sucked. My husband is an HVAC tech & even HE said it sucked. It would get cold but, everything felt wet constantly from the humidity. • it rained during our stay & water leaked through the window causing the carpet to be wet. •make sure there isn’t a wedding going on if you need sleep (or you have a baby like I do). You’ll be up all night from the reception. Overall, wasn’t horrible but won’t be staying again either.”airbnb
