“If I could give 10 stars I would! My family of 8 plus two extra kids stayed at Dancing Dolphin and it was amazing! I’d like to say the view is what you’re paying for but it’s so much more. We had ages 20 down to 9 plus two adults staying and no one was bored. The pool was amazing. Don’t let the fact that it’s covered deter you. It’s exactly what you want/need after being in the sun on the beach all day. The small room down there is full of beach and pool items. We even left some boogie boards and sand toys. It’s a “take what you need, leave what you can” type system and it’s amazing! The home is beautiful! The beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen was stocked well. I’d say you’d want to bring pizza pans if your family wants to cook frozen pizzas. Otherwise, had all we needed! The deck does get wet when it rains there. Not a negative, just putting as information. We left towels on the deck to dry and it rained overnight. Will be rebooking for next year! A+++++++ house!”airbnb

“The place was nice, clean and with a great location. I will recommend you to improve on on-place supplies [shampoo, aconditioner, towel paper, dish washer soap, bath supplies]. Price is not cheap and details makes the difference. Besides those details, we're recommending you everywhere. Thank you!”airbnb

“The only concern I had was music and people in the house east of us. There were two parties - pool parties with too much noise for us to sleep. It went on until after midnight on our first night and last night. There were easily 50 people at each event. The first night was a ball team and it ended after 10 but the last night was adults and kept our whole house from sleeping. Our neighbors in the other side of the townhouse were great!”airbnb

“Great house that was spacious and comfortable for our two families. Nice location right on the beach and next to the pool. The resort amenities were nice. The host communicates well and provides lots of information.”airbnb

“We had a few issues with maintenance but the toilet was replaced within a day. We stuggled with the dryer actually drying clothes. Beds were a bit hard and the community space felt really small for our large group. For example, the dining table only fit 6. Place was clean. Parking was rough as it was only single lane parking so we had to constantly shuffle cars. Overall, it worked and the company was really responsive to our messages.”airbnb

“We had a great family vacation at Seafoam! Location on West Beach was perfect. The layout of the house worked well for our family. The only things I perceived as a negative was that the furnishings in the house are a bit tired and mismatched. Refreshing the living room/dining area would go a long way in making the downstairs look up to date. The outdoor tables and chairs are mismatched and rusted. I think it’s time to replace those as well. Maybe with something made of poly wood ? Finally, the stairways are coated in a glossy varnish which becomes slick if they get damp. I would suggest installing some type of grip on the stair treads. With these updates, I would definitely give the house a five star review!”airbnb

“Richards place at the Night Heron West was perfect for our group! The place was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed for our week long stay. The location is perfect- close to the beach, easy to walk around to the main stretch of Gulf Shores and is perfectly located near the hotels hosting the Beach Volleyball NCAA tournament. Everyone was able to enjoy their personal space with the spacious bedrooms and individual bathrooms. I highly reccommend this house for large parties looking to have a relaxing stay right next to the beach. We hope to be back next year!”airbnb

“Home DESPERATELY needs insulation from sound (neighbors, Upstairs, autos). We could hear every step/conversation from the neighbors & I am sure they felt the same. Furniture (specifically living area) is mismatched, stained and worn like a "frat house". Several faucets & toilets leaked/dripped continuously. Some toilets had rings needing cleaning. Cock roach carcasses in upstairs closet. Refrigerator ice-maker doesn't work, kitchen fridge leaked & was missing shelves & had some rusty shelves. We had to "fix" the internet ourselves. There is trash (old pools, umbrellas, etc.) at end of beach boardwalk. The stove is old & not functioning well. Pool was smaller than expected and was cold - even paying for heat. Housekeepers broke glass in carport cleaning neighbor's & did not clean up well. On the positive - HVAC did work well & size of home is nice with plenty of parking for a large group. Richard communicated well & was responsive when asked.”airbnb

“The location, the one floor living space and the serene beach access were great for our multigenerational group of 9 people. The heatable pool was paid for in advance and could not be used. Whether it was an operational issue or a climate situation didn’t matter because it could not be corrected in the time we were there. 7 adults and two children would not use the pool due to water temperature. In the future I will not include a pool in my list of priorities when selecting a vacation home, and will not be returning to this home. The additional cost of a home with a pool is not worth the added expense.”airbnb
