“We had a wonderful anniversary stay at Brett and Jil’s place. The cabin had everything we needed for our three day stay. We did no cooking since a huge breakfast is provided. We ate out in the evening. We fed the small herd of longhorns, the dozen and a half wild deer (and watched them frolic from the front porch), and threw lettuce to the hundred year old tortoise. We had great interactions with Brett and Jil (ask Brett about Marlin when you get a chance and then settle in for the story). Breakfast was cooked each morning by Brett the Chef and delivered to the door. Bacon and eggs, sausage, bacon, and the best French toast ever. The property is so quiet and peaceful. Sit out on the front porch and enjoy it all. You won't want to ever leave.”

“This place was a little slice of heaven. We brought our dogs and loved the securely fenced backyard and extra touches like water bowls sets out in each room. A pristine creek on the property offered hours of fun exploring and relaxing in the water. The highlight of our evenings was the half mile walk up to the lookout gazebo for amazing sunsets. The house itself was very well stocked with anything you'd need in the kitchen and comfortable furniture. An incredible experience all around.”
