“We had an absolutely incredible stay at Pelican 54! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking ocean views and unbeatable beachfront location. Being able to step out onto the boardwalk and directly onto the sand made every day feel like a dream. The sound of the waves and the stunning sunsets from the balcony created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The condo was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for our group. The master bedroom's ocean views were amazing to wake up to each morning, and the layout provided plenty of room for everyone to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals while still enjoying the spectacular scenery. What really sets this property apart is how peaceful and secluded it feels. It truly is a hidden gem that allows you to disconnect from everyday stress and reconnect with nature. Whether we were walking the beach, watching wildlife, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee on the patio, every moment was memorable.”

“The host failed to disclose that water from the tap was not suitable for drinking. Bottled water was promptly provided when requested.”

“We love Pajaro Dunes! This place was as listed. All Pajaro dunes places have character. Love how close we are to the beach! Nice kitchen and living spaces, loved they included games and books! Overall nice stay with our small family!”

“The home is lovely and overlooks the dunes from downstairs, but the upstairs view was stunning! across the dunes and out to the beach and ocean beyond, as well as a full view of the monterrey side of the bay. There were TONS of extra linens, as well as beach towels and cozy throw blankets. overall the house was very nicely equipped. There were lots of spaces for activities on the grounds such as pickleball and horseshoes, as well as open grassy areas. The beach was perfect as it's not overly crowded. We really enjoyed our time there and saw what may have been the most beautiful sunset I've ever laid my eyes on!”

“Overall a nice stay and the rental is largely just as described. We had issues with check-in not matching the instructions provided so a bit less of a chaotic start but nice rental and stay.”

“We love staying at Pajarro Dunes--this is a middle unit, so you can hear noise from above, but have fewer stairs. Note that most of the flatwear is plastic--there are not enough plates/bowls/mugs for a group unless you use the plastic (which can't be microwaved). The toilets are LOUD (vaccuum suction)--like think jet engine/airplane, so nobody will want to use if anyone is sleeping. There was also a notice about the tap water being unsafe to drink (probably all units) and no ice/trays. You should plan on bringing drinking water and ice. Last, the area has construction so some paths are off-limits and there is yellow flagging throughout. Pajaro Dunes the beach/river was beautiful!”

“We stayed with my family. The good place quiet and peaceful. The property has access to the beach directly. The home nice itself. We really enjoyed. Just to remind. Before you come to the gate contact to host that they should inform gatekeepers to let you in. We wait 10-15 mins outside. Because no one didn’t inform to them about our visit. But overall, we really liked and loved this property”

“Great location next to the water and you can hear the waves crash on the beach. Parking restrictions for campervans (undisclosed) resulted in having to park my vehicle over a mile away from the rental.”

“We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience overall during at recent stay. From the moment we arrived, several issues made our stay uncomfortable. The screen doors were broken, making it difficult to ventilate the space properly. The oven range was completely inoperative, which was especially frustrating since we had planned to cook meals during our stay. On top of that, the toilets were clogged, creating a very inconvenient and unpleasant situation. The cleanliness and upkeep of the property were also far below expectations. The towels provided were torn and worn out, and the bedding did not feel clean. There was also a persistent, unpleasant odor throughout the house. Another major issue was the extremely slow internet, which made it nearly impossible to work or even stream basic content. Additionally, the listing did not accurately describe the house amenities or the location, leaving us unprepared and misled about what to expect. We request a partial refund as compensation”
