Andes STR's guest rating of 4.64 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“This home was big, beautiful and the heated pool was a plus! With that being said we experienced a very big issue with the AC not working properly. By the second night the AC broke and we were told someone would come out the next morning to fix it. We had very small children sleeping in all the rooms and they were very warm all night. The next day someone arrived at 3pm and stated AC needed Freon which he did not have said he’d be back in 3 hours but never came. After reaching out multiple times and being told that now someone was coming the following day we said that was unacceptable and finally by 2am the house started to cool down. Our kids had to sleep on the floor downstairs. The dryer was also not working properly it took 2 hours to dry our clothes. Crib and playpen were in the description of home but Elena didn’t know that and did not accommodate. Game room kept turning off we had to keep trouble shooting. Unfortunately we would not be coming back. House has so much potential!!”airbnb

“Lots of stains on carpet and sofa. I did not let me kids touch the carpet which was hard to avoid so we were cleaning hands often. Also shower curtain smelt like mildew. Kitchen, living room and dining area was good space. Outdoor was clean.”airbnb

“We had a great stay and really enjoyed our weekend! The rooms were nicely decorated, and there were plenty of games and activities to keep everyone entertained. The resort was easy to access, the pool area was nice, and the community overall felt welcoming and very family-friendly. A couple of things could use some improvement. The beds were uncomfortable, and you could feel the springs through the mattresses. Unfortunately, we also couldn’t use the grill because the knobs were rusted and it wouldn’t ignite. The grill itself was quite dirty and heavily rusted. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the family-friendly atmosphere. With a few updates and a little more maintenance, this would be an even better place to stay!”airbnb

“The house and location are excellent. The furniture is worn, specificially the couch is falling apart. The oven and microwave were broken and we waited an entire week for them to be fixed/replaced. There is only one air conditioning unit for the home so the home was at 75 degrees the entire time, sometimes higher, which was very uncomfortable but we were told there is nothing to be done. We had to escalate the kitchen issues to Airbnb to get a real response. The manager however was lovely.”airbnb

“The place was very clean and spacious. But when we requested pool heat we got the play around about minimum 3 nights when we agreed to pay for 3 nights they said only 3 nights will break the pump? Not true at all. We also requested late check out and was denied. There was no karaoke machine The couch for movie theatre area upstairs has a broken recliner None of the rooms have ceiling fans but there are 3 portable fans in the house to put in rooms. Also at check in the lock code should’ve been my last 4 of my phone number and it was never changed from previous guests even after pointing out this was not our code they never changed it. And back doors were never able to be locked… and we weren’t allowed to lock the pool area doors so the pool guys could come so we were just exposed to whoever wandered in… definitely made my family uncomfortable.”airbnb

“Check-in was great, and the host was very attentive and welcoming. Unfortunately, on the second day of our stay, two of my friends were bitten pretty badly by what appeared to be bed bugs. We notified the host when we checked out, but the response was that there was nothing she could do because we had not reported the issue earlier in the stay. While the initial experience was positive, the bed bug issue and the way our concern was handled afterward were very disappointing”airbnb

“The house needs some renovations and better maintenance. The sofa is torn and in pretty bad condition. For such a large house, the kitchen is also not very well equipped. There are only small pots and pans, and the plastic plates are peeling, and in poor condition. The stove and the cabinet above the stove was extremely dirty from all the grease. The broil was not working. The coffee maker also didn’t have the right-size carafe. We had to improvise. I also found online that the community allows up to 6 cars, while the listing only mentioned 5. I asked the host for help contacting the community management to confirm this, but it took almost three weeks and I kept being told there was no answer. I ended up finding the management office’s phone number myself and called them directly. They cleared up my question in less than 10 minutes, and I was even able to request approval for an extra car. The house has a lot of potential, but it definitely needs better care.”airbnb

“Overall the stay was good but we did experience a handful of issues. The first issue was when we arrived on the first day. The bedroom downstairs didn't have any air circulating in the room, the room was extremely warm also the outlet for that bathroom were out i had to flip the breaker for the bathroom outlets to work and the dishwasher never worked our entire stay which was a huge inconvenience because we had kids with us and we were cooking daily. On day 2 we were locked out of the house for about an hour after coming from the parks, the keypad went dead and someone had to come replace the battery the next day. Also, the refrigerator and freezer went out it only worked the 1st day we had to throw away all of our frozen goods including ice,Ice cream things of that nature. Everything was just unthrawed. I did inform the owner of everything. The host was very responsive, but the issues were not addressed. Only the keypad. The pool area was very nice. I love how the grill area is set up.”airbnb

“I would not recommend staying at this Airbnb. The house was dirty and had a strong dog odor as soon as we walked in. The furniture was stained and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. One of the chairs was broken or unstable, and when I sat down, it gave way and caused me to hurt my back and foot. That was completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe during my stay. On top of that, several things around the house were broken, including the TV, which didn’t work at all. Between the lack of cleanliness, the bad smell, broken furniture, and non-working amenities, this property was nothing like what we expected. The host needs to address the cleanliness, repair the broken furniture and appliances, and make sure the home is safe for guests before renting it out again. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.”airbnb

“I stayed at this Airbnb located at 2163 Tripoli Court from June 14th through June 20th, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Upon arrival on June 14th, we immediately reported that the TVs were not working. Although the host was responsive through messages, no one was sent to address the issue until Friday afternoon—nearly the end of our stay. The cleanliness of the property was extremely disappointing. During our stay, we found: • Two roaches inside the home • An empty water bottle behind the trash can • Leftover food in the oven • A dirty diaper underneath the couch • Dirty baby clothes wedged between the couch cushions • Crumbs and debris inside the pull-out sofa • A mop that was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned • Couches that were heavily stained, dirty, and looked as though they had not been properly cleaned in quite some time For the amount of money paid for this property, these conditions were unacceptable. home did not feel clean”airbnb
