“Super clean & excellent location!”

“We stayed at this property for 10 days while exploring the Sarasota area. The home was clean and comfortable, with spotless bathrooms and a well-stocked kitchen that made our stay convenient. Having a pool on the property was a nice bonus, especially since the beaches are generally 20+ minutes away. It was a great spot to relax after spending the day sightseeing. The property is located within reasonable distance of many Sarasota attractions. St. Armands Circle is about 5 miles away and offers plenty of restaurants, shopping, and opportunities for a nice walk. If you’re feeling ambitious, it’s even walkable on a pleasant day. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby beach area to watch the beautiful sunsets. Overall, the property provided a comfortable place to stay while we explored Sarasota and the surrounding area.”

“We enjoyed 8 nights at Villa Krystal, hosted by Altez Vacations. The house was clean and had incredible views of the bay. I appreciated the higher end plates, glasses, furniture, appliances, etc. A lot of rentals have cheap, mismatched silverware and dishes but you can tell the owners put thought and care into what is provided. Even the many throw blankets provided were nice quality and the furniture is all high end & in great shape. The mattresses were all very comfortable and there were lots of extra linens and pillows. The lay out worked perfectly for our group of 5 adults. The provided beach towels were used and washed daily so having the washer and dryer available was perfect. We made use of the provided beach cart, chairs & umbrellas on beach days. My husband and nephew enjoyed fishing from the dock out back with the provided fishing equipment. This villa is on the pricey side but with everything you get, it’s well worth it. Great location to restaurants and town.”

“Comfortable and convenient”

“The house is in a fantastic location. It has everything you need for a great vacation…beach towels and chairs, pool, walking distance from the beach, walking distance to great restaurants, and it was very clean and comfortable.”

“Great stay. Public beach access #13 was steps away. This was a great beach spot for snorkeling and swimming in general. The only complaint I may have would be if there are neighbors upstairs it can get rather noisy. Footsteps make loud sounds and children dropping things are loud. Bring ear plugs if you like to sleep in and all will be good! I think the stay was worthwhile.”

“The interior largely matched the photos. However, the bathrooms are somewhat outdated, and the shower fixtures are noticeably affected by limescale. The outdoor area around the house currently appears somewhat unmaintained. In addition, access points to electrical and other installations are freely accessible, which is not ideal, especially for families with small children. The stone slabs around the pool are also quite uneven in places, which poses a certain risk of injury. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the lounge area, as the seat cushions are moldy. Furthermore, it would be advisable to repair the roof, as some of the lower wooden supports are partially exposed. There were also large packages stored in the living room. While this did not significantly disturb us, it did leave a somewhat unfavorable impression. Apart from these points, the house was generally fine. The pool in particular was a highlight for our children and was used extensively.”

“The location is fantastic with easy access to the nearby beach. The interior of the house was very nice and clean. However, the pool could use some cleaning, and a few of the outdoor amenities were a bit worn out.”

“Property was significantly misrepresented in both the listing photos and the reviews. Property is very poorly maintained and has significant safety issues with the pool and deck. Pool was dirty and had holes with sharp edges you could cut yourself on. Deck is completely unusable due to rot and soft unstable flooring, railing is coming apart. Cushions on pool furniture are filthy. Maggots in trash cans outside. Entry doors have huge cracks around door and door casings. Infestation of love bugs in all units. This property has been severely neglected. It’s a real shame because the Location to beach is great.”

“overall everything was excellent. very comfortable. only complaint was had 2 rolls of toilet tissue. we were there an entire week. when asked for more was told after 2 rolls you were on your own. felt for the price unlimited TP should have been made available.”
