Alpine Lodging Telluride

“Las fotos eran diferentes al edificio que en realidad es , la atención es muy buena, pero la habitación era pequeña siento que las imágenes que tienen publicadas no hacen justicia con cómo es el lugar. Problema con el parqueo también nunca había tenías que parquear en otro lugar y estar con el pendiente que al carro no le pasara nada. La estufa no funciona bien y la cafetera tampoco.”

“Spacious home, comfortable, and looked like the photos. Had some issues with a car left in the driveway which wasn’t communicated. Slow to respond. Overall, great stay.”

“I have stayed several times at this location and always had a good stay. Unfortunately this particular unit we were assigned was on the ground floor and our window was only feet away from the main driveway and walkway to all of the buildings. Because it was warm (no AC) we opened the windows so we could sleep comfortably but the noise from people and cars so close to the window resulted in almost no sleep… constantly being woke up with the traffic and people talking. Loud utility truck followed by sports cars woke us again at 6:30am so we just decided to leave. Would stay here again if we were in a different building/floor. Otherwise very clean and great location to town, but 400$ a night to not sleep is not our idea of a great stay”

“The Telluride Mountainside Inn is a fairly affordable and simple place to stay in town. It’s incredibly walkable to the gondola, river trail, and restaurants and shops which made it ideal. It does feel rather old and run down, and the room had a musty smell. But overall it was good for the price paid and beat paying typical Telluride prices.”

“Room is small and cozy. Location is easy walk to anything. Hot tubs were nice after hiking.”

“We stayed at Bear Creek Lodge for five days, spending about two thousand dollars expecting a relaxing family vacation. One of the main reasons we chose this property was because of the pool. Unfortunately, while our children were swimming, they discovered feces in the pool and actually stepped in it. We understand accidents can happen, and the main reason we're leaving this review isn't the incident itself, but how it was handled afterward. We called several times, left messages, and sent messages through Airbnb asking when the pool would be safe to use again and what cleaning procedures had been completed,but we couldn't get a call back from the property manager or clear answers. We received conflicting information and were even told the pool had reopened when it had not. Because of this, our kids didn't get to swim for the rest of our stay. No one ever apologized or acknowledged what our family experienced. For the price we paid, we expected much better guest care and safety.”

“The listing did not mention massive construction site in development right beside the building. The noise starts at 7:00 am and is absolutely awful. We have stayed in Mountain Village many times before, and have had better price to value/space balance before, and we love the pedestrian location and the family and outdoor activities available in the area. Overall the condo is in a great location with the view of the main square, once the construction concludes, although a bit small when it comes to common areas (very small kitchen for a 3 brm place). Utensils are also quite sparse and mismatched. All communication is also routed through two layers of agents, and might not even reach the actual owners..”

“I had to rate them one star because of their refund policy. I get the no refunds policy but we had a medical emergency that prevented us from reaching the destination. No consideration given even though I offered to provide medical records for proof. So thanks for the compassion. Maybe a little empathy to folks who have a terrible situation they are dealing with is in order?”

“We stayed for 3 nights and were very disappointed, especially given the cost. The biggest issue was cleanliness. We found food and dog kibble under the bed and dresser, and a dirty towel left in the bathroom. It did not feel like the unit had been properly cleaned, which is unacceptable at this price point. We did not report this during the stay because we arrived shortly before a scheduled event and did not have time to coordinate with a third-party management company. We chose to clean it ourselves rather than disrupt our plans, but this is not something guests should have to deal with. After checkout, we were told a “partial refund” was issued, but it only covered pet and parking fees. We were charged for parking despite not having a car and being told we wouldn’t be charged, so that should have been refunded regardless. No additional compensation was offered for the cleanliness issues. Overall, this did not meet expectations and I would not stay here again.”
