“My first time booking on Airbnb and one of the worst experiences. I will keep it short - we arrived to a dirty/uncleaned airbnb and didnt want to wait around for host to find cleaners (which they didnt get cleaned till the next day). Not how we wanted to start our vacation. So we checked into hotel nearby with our tired kids. We got 2 rooms for $1000. Communication with the host was horrible. Spoke to 5 different people (all working from different countries). Managers took forever to call me back with a resolution. They gave me 2 nights free but it still wasn't enough to cover my 2 rooms at the hotel we stayed in our first night. This review is to warn people that the communication is slow and when a problem arises, it takes forever for host/managers to resolve especially over the weekend because they are closed.”

“We had a wonderful stay here! The kitchen was so well appointed, everything we needed plus useful basics like seasonings and condiments that so often are no where to be found in vacation rentals. This was a place you could really enjoy cooking for everyone in. Temp/climate control was also fantastic and comfortable. Walking to turtle Bay, playing in the water with the awesome beach toys provided by the house, amazing! My one slight regret was that I didn't fully understand how exposed the all 3 of the upstairs beds are to all the noise downstairs. There's not really any privacy, which for us as a family was fine, but it made it very difficult for families with different sleep schedules to be comfortable and stay sleeping. Strongly recommend considering to bring (or provide) a noise machine!”

“We chose this home expecting a premium experience that matched the price, but unfortunately it did not. The listing photos are outdated, and the property needs better upkeep. The lanai needs repair/resurfacing, the door screen fell off when opened, and the shower curtain broke off immediately. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, which we truly appreciated. However, many of the games were missing pieces or so disorganized they weren’t usable. There were also multiple handwritten notes taped throughout the home regarding broken items and amenities - maintenance issues should be repaired rather than explained. Basic supplies like toilet paper and trash bags were also ridiculously limited. Our biggest concern was security. Our children came running inside saying there were strangers on the property. We discovered the locked gate had been opened and gardeners were working onsite unannounced - it took ~2 hours for mgmt to respond as they were not aware themselves; super unsettling.”

“Letting us know only 2 days before arrival that there would be construction on the property was not ok. There was no time to rebook or even get refund. We wanted somewhere away from tourists and noise. The noise was very loud all day. Besides that it was a lovely location and we enjoyed that part of the island.”

“This place is 100% worth a 5 star review. The place is beautiful, the view is beautiful but there was to manny easily fixable problems we ran into on our week long trip. The electric grill was not working, the TV upstairs was having issues the vacuum did not work and the main freezer was frozen shut. The other disappointment was the amenities. They did not provide enough cooking pepper, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags to make it through a week long trip. We needed to go to the store multiple times during our vacation to get these amenities. If these amenities were provided it would have been a five star stay, vacation is meant to be spent vacationing not making store runs to get essential and expected housing items. If the host fixes these things and if you plan to stay it is a truly amazing place that deserves a 5 star review but only after those issues are addressed.”

“Dishwasher was broken, dirty wash cloth hanging from the upstairs shower. Ants crawling on food placed on the island. Host asked for appropriate times for maintenance to enter and fix issues, nobody ever showed up.”

“Me and my daughter enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view on the park and beach. Great location too. The only downside was parking. They charged me $50/night for overnight parking since this was a privately owned unit at the hotel. And I was expecting $40 as communicated with the host.”

“The pool was closed while i was there for the entirety of my stay, which wasn’t communicated. Also, very slow responses through the app. Otherwise, was exactly as pictured and stay was fine.”

“The posting states that there is construction going on but it does not say that the Lanai is blocked off from access entirely. I would not have booked this room if I knew that. They were willing to let me cancel after two nights but got no credit to make up for the Lanai issue. Bed is also very uncomfortable and mattress should be replaced. Room could also use a full length mirror.”

“It was a vacation from hell it rained everyday. We had no power for 48 hours lost all the food in the fridge and freezer no flash lights to see at night and no air conditioning and all the store’s were closed so we really did not get enjoy the hose like we should have. Overall the house was nice but could have had more supplies and towels since we had no power for two days”
