“The condo was clean and welcoming. The view was amazing. The complex was very quiet during the week. Beach access was easy and the condo came with 2 chair rentals and an umbrella. Would definitely come back to the Surf Dweller condos.”

“We enjoyed our stay and it was exactly what we needed. The unit has an easy walk to the beach, lots of indoor seating, but is a bit dated. It was very clean but the carpet is old and has a mildewy smell. Comes with umbrella and chairs on the beach which is awesome!”

“We had a fantastic stay! The house was actually a bit larger than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise and gave us plenty of room to spread out. The beach was more crowded than I anticipated, but that's simply a matter of personal preference and not a reflection of the property itself. The only minor drawback was the response time when I had questions. My questions were answered, but the responses took a little longer than I'm accustomed to. In fairness, I may have received quicker assistance if I had contacted the location where we picked up the keys. Overall, we had a great experience. The home was exactly what we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.”

“This was unfortunately the worst Airbnb experience we’ve had in 5 years visiting the Fort Walton area. Upon arrival, we were told someone “might” be fixing the water heater, but when we got to the unit there was no technician and no running water. We were moved to another unit where we found dirty swim trunks in the bathroom, a chirping fire alarm, and stained bed sheets. After moving back to the original unit the next day, there was active construction directly outside our unit that we were never informed about. Workers were sanding paint, leaving debris everywhere while wearing respirator masks, and at one point our door was taped off without notice. Management was dismissive, focused only on refusing additional refunds, and never apologized. They did reimburse one night, but not the full amount since we booked through Airbnb. We would not stay at another property managed by Alicia J Hollis Realtor Rentals again. Communication and professionalism throughout the stay was awful. Bad.”

“Beautiful location, family had a great time at Fort Walton. Condo met our needs for the most part, but several issues came up. Unfortunately the property is listed to sleep 8, but in the description fine print it says that it sleeps 6. So our family of 7 was pretty cramped. The dishwasher was in really bad shape to start with, with bits of the posts crumbling off in rusty pieces after we ran a load. Then there was a leak somewhere below our unit and we had plumbers in and out, telling us not to use the dishwasher or the nicer shower for the second half of our trip. We tried to touch base with the owner via the Airbnb app and never got any response. Then we found out on check out day from the plumbers- not from the owner- that the leak was not from our unit. Finally, the unit did not have paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc, so we needed to make any extra grocery stop. Overall we still had a great time, but the property presented some challenges for our stay.”

“Condo is in a great location. To get into condo the door is hard to figure out at first. The condo itself was a decent space but had dry wall patches all over and do not plan on using the closets at all in this home in the bedrooms as they are stuffed full of random things. Counter Ice machine they had doesn’t work and isn’t cleaned regularly as we discovered black mold in it. Overall it was a budget friendly vacation condo on the beach.”
