“My stay at this property was extremely distressing. While I was staying there, a man broke into the home. Because I no longer felt safe, I immediately left the property and followed all of Airbnb’s instructions regarding the incident. Unfortunately, despite the seriousness of what happened and the fact that I left immediately because I did not feel safe staying there. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but I expected Jessie at AJ Home Rentals, the company managing the listing on behalf of the homeowner, to take a safety incident like this seriously and refund me. Instead, I was left feeling unsupported after experiencing a frightening situation through no fault of my own. I would strongly encourage future guests to reconsider before booking with AJ Home Rentals. Additional issues-home is extremely outdated, random furniture is stained or broken, one of the sliding glass doors doesn’t lock, the hot water didn’t work, THERE IS NO GOLF CART, I got bit up by bugs in bed &”

“The house itself was nice and the owner Chris was very nice. We did have an issue with the pool heater and equipment not working for the first 5 days. The issue was with the host, management company directly. It took hours or days to get responses on things, if at all. I handled getting the pool heater resolved by having to call the pool company myself and then follow up because the first time they came out it still wasn’t resolved. There was no follow up from Jessie, she never asked once in over a month stay how things were, if we needed help. We were left to figure things out. Her team was nice, and tried but she would then undo what they’d said. There were missing things, and they didn’t know where the golf cart keys were, and the supplies provided like trash bags had a hole in every bag which resulted in trash all over the road because the villages doesn’t have cans. Great house, but the hosting side needs more care, follow through, and hospitality.”

“If your looking for a place to stay with the bare minimum this place is it. it was clean the yard was amazing and the wild life was gorgeous! with that being said all of the tvs in the house were stuck in spanish, when we messaged the host they didn’t response for over 24 hours. Also there was only a tv in the living room and master bedroom… Other than that the house was nice for a small get away.”
