“Nice area. Took morning walks every day. Visited family and went to the pool close by a couple of days.”

“Jessie’s place was in a great location and the home was kept up very well. We had everything we needed. The only drawback was that we weren’t able to watch any football because there was no cable/streaming options. Typically we are able to log in and download our streaming services but everything was locked on the host account. We ended up driving to the square each night to watch the sports we wanted to see. There were only 3 towels which wasn’t a big deal. Everything else was absolutely great!”

“Very nice house, very clean. We had a few issues. When we got there we found the garage door and the outside tv was not working. I feel they should have known this before I arrived. We weren’t happy walking in to that. An iron and basic cooking needs were advertised and not available. Yet when I brought too their attention the items were dropped off. Again I should not have been the one to find out. Even though the house belongs to someone the property manager should’ve managed it less like just a business and more like someone’s personal property. I would recommend renting but from someone personal instead of a management company.”

“The accommodations were excellent and when I needed it, I was able to talk with someone from the agency who were always pleasant and helpful. The only disappointment was the communication was not strictly through AirBnb but instead they sent information via personal e-mail which were missed making check in instructions difficult.😞”

“Even with us being quiet and considerate people we felt like we had to walk on eggshells. Place was clean and nice for our stay as it was close to the Buffalo Crossings, but definitely wouldn't stay again. I just dont believe you should air bnb in certain areas and this is one of them areas. I also reached out via text and message in Airbnb app and never received a response (absolutely zero response). Even if what I was asking for couldnt be accommodated atleast respond as they had no delay on letting me know the garage door was left open (which was not of our fault) as we did close it, but i guess the frequency from another neighbors garage door opener can affect other houses. We're not the ones to leave a mediocre review, but honestly for the first time we didnt feel comfortable. Not to mention beds n pillows were terrible in both rooms. Thank you for the stay on short notice!!”

“The house was wonderful and well stocked. Walking or golf cart distance to Brownwood and Publix. Only issue was that communication during the visit was slow. Two weeks afterwards and I'm still trying to resolve a $50 refund she promised. Communication afterwards is terrible.”

“My stay at this property was extremely distressing. While I was staying there, a man broke into the home. Because I no longer felt safe, I immediately left the property and followed all of Airbnb’s instructions regarding the incident. Unfortunately, despite the seriousness of what happened and the fact that I left immediately because I did not feel safe staying there. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but I expected Jessie at AJ Home Rentals, the company managing the listing on behalf of the homeowner, to take a safety incident like this seriously and refund me. Instead, I was left feeling unsupported after experiencing a frightening situation through no fault of my own. I would strongly encourage future guests to reconsider before booking with AJ Home Rentals. Additional issues-home is extremely outdated, random furniture is stained or broken, one of the sliding glass doors doesn’t lock, the hot water didn’t work, THERE IS NO GOLF CART, I got bit up by bugs in bed &”

“The house itself was nice and the owner Chris was very nice. We did have an issue with the pool heater and equipment not working for the first 5 days. The issue was with the host, management company directly. It took hours or days to get responses on things, if at all. I handled getting the pool heater resolved by having to call the pool company myself and then follow up because the first time they came out it still wasn’t resolved. There was no follow up from Jessie, she never asked once in over a month stay how things were, if we needed help. We were left to figure things out. Her team was nice, and tried but she would then undo what they’d said. There were missing things, and they didn’t know where the golf cart keys were, and the supplies provided like trash bags had a hole in every bag which resulted in trash all over the road because the villages doesn’t have cans. Great house, but the hosting side needs more care, follow through, and hospitality.”

“If your looking for a place to stay with the bare minimum this place is it. it was clean the yard was amazing and the wild life was gorgeous! with that being said all of the tvs in the house were stuck in spanish, when we messaged the host they didn’t response for over 24 hours. Also there was only a tv in the living room and master bedroom… Other than that the house was nice for a small get away.”

“The house appeared had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The white bathroom mats were dirty with black stains and the towels left for use had several stains on them. The floors were dusty and we got one roll of paper towels and one additional toilet paper roll with no others for replacement. This place left you needing to run to the grocery store to find little items that other locations typically have in the home. The experience of this home screamed minimalism.”
