Manager Review

Affordable Large Properties

Affordable Large Properties's guest rating of 4.35 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Clean condo on the beach about 9 minutes drive from the boardwalk. When you are at the beach you are just excited to be there typically. However, I had a few issues during my stay that made me decide not to book here again including: host communication soley outside of air BNB, elevators randomly stopping working and one stayed off for a significant period of time(leaving our friend in a wheelchair stranded for 30 minutes), ac stopped working our last night, micro parking garage with tiny handicapped spaces , beach not accessible before 9am unless you walk a block, rude staff on the phone, and constant construction noise and Styrofoam falling from the building being renovated next door. Just a bunch of little things added up for us and we will be looking elsewhere next trip.

Great place. Oceanfront view with balcony. Only issue was that the property, not affordable large properties, changed the door code to the building halfway into my stay so I was locked out for an hour or so. Absolutely no issues otherwise.

The apartment quality is what I would expect for the price. The host is not up to my Airbnb host expectations. Listing notes: Third floor unit, no elevator. They list ID and rental agreement is needed. House rules on the rental agreement. They DO NOT communicate via the app which creates issues. I sent a message via the app asking if anything else was needed 24 hour prior to departure and 36 hours prior to arrival. hours before check in I was texted that I needed to sign the rental agreement where you find what is really provided which is not the same as the listing. If you are flying in, plan on buying everything which at that point an hotel might be cheaper. I arrived at 6pm door standing open. I waited all week for the promised dishwasher soap. Still not there on check out. Some maintenance issues, I didn't bother since they couldn't get me DW soap after 3 days. I won’t rent from this host again. I won't rent from Affordable Large Properties ever again.

The location was just as described. Easy check in and out. Close to restaurants and within walking distance to the main strip. And they answered any and all questions. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Wifi is open only; not suitable for remote work or usable speeds. Second bedroom blinds do not fully block view from outside hallway into the window. Curtains were clearly ripped off previously and not replaced nor repaired with screws left protuding on wall. Had to rig up a blanket to cover window so daughter could sleep in there comfortably. Master bathroom sink slow to drain. Cleanliness of entire place was suspect - couch stains, spill stains running down wall of kitchen island, and more. Reached out to host immediately about wifi situation and received zero assistance or remedy. Host did not respond to next request.

The host was very responsive from check-in to check-out. This was plenty of space for my family during spring break and everyone had their own privacy.

Overall the unit was very outdated. The shower nozzles were filled with mold, excessive. The shower curtain was very moldy. Also, the front door had mold all over it. The bed in the bigger bedroom, was broken (the frame). The little bedroom was really hot, no fan but it appeared no AC as well. The fridge had an odor. Overall the kitchen had a really foul smell. The people below us, kept beating on their ceiling or something, it made the floors shake. At one point the knocking was so bad, we went to ask the people to stop but they wouldn’t open the door.
