Manager Review

Affordable Large Properties

Affordable Large Properties's guest rating of 4.33 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Terrible mold and mildew problem. Wasn’t handled for days. They simply “cleaned” it off…not everywhere though. One of the kids came down with a terrible migraine, vomiting and respiratory issues. The owner was not helpful at all. It was a terror walking in and seeing all the mold around the vents and on the ceiling. Mildew was noticeable everywhere else and had a strong smell of the mildew. Wallpaper was peeling off because of this issue and it was caked behind there. A professional company came in and said that multiple things needed to be done to resolve this issue. They relayed this message to the owner and all they did was “clean” the property. Horrible experience

1. Key pickup at completely different resort area. They don't use the keypad on the door, which became an issue considering we had (2) cars with us and our family going different places. Also, little to no instructions for Wifi, pools, etc. 2. Noticeable odor, almost like a stale smoking odor. 3. Master BR - noticeable large stain on old carpet right when you walk into the BR. Also a half-dollar sized stain on a pillow case. The window is ~12' wide, yet they only had (2) curtain panels and NO blinds, so much of window was exposed. Any golfer passing it can easily see in. In MB bath, the shower knob has to be pulled very hard to get any pressure. 4. BR2 - ok, but mattresses sag bad. 4. Back patio - this area was awful. Chair cushions had a black-speckle residue, and entire ceiling/corners was covered in spider webs. 5. Kitchen - behind sink was covered in what appeared to be a calcium-like residue. The best part of this was access to pools, especially Barefoot Resort main pool.

The place was beautiful, large and clean. The beds were comfortable and the downstairs shower was a dream. The screened in porch was very nice. Overall, a great place However, when I book a place with access to pools , I don’t want to be searching all over the neighborhood clubhouses looking for pools only to be told finally at guest services that I needed to sign a waiver for a pool card, have to wait for the waiver to show up in my email standing there with 3 grandchildren before I can sign it and then have to take pictures with my phone of the addresses of the pools, be handed a pool card before I can be on my way This should have been taken care of before arrival. I had to sign 3 forms and give a picture of my license but no one thought to give me this information? Or answer my email when I asked? Also, there was very little information in the rental about local restaurants, things to do, etc which would have been nice Flies from dumpster across the road come in too

Stay was nice but when I wanted to adjust reservations, host told me to contact AirBnb but when I called AirBnb , they told me to reach out to the host and felt like I didn’t get much help. Overall tho, the place was nice.

Pros: Large unit, big kitchen, nice screened in porch. Ample beds and baths. Cons: Hot water ran out after two short showers. This unit could never handle 12 showers in one day. Three roaches and two large bugs found on three different days. Management said they would spray but no follow up if that occurred. In fact, I requested a phone call but only received a brief text. Initially said it was pretty normal for the area. Not enough silverware in the kitchen. Be sure to bring your own dishtowels and potholders. Although we only had four people, there are beds for 12 and kitchen chairs for only 8. Very small dining table. Each bedroom is equipped with remotes that control lighting and fan. Ours was so mixed up, remotes were operating things in other rooms even after we rotated them to troubleshoot. All interface with management was via text; would have liked a phone number to discuss our issues.

Great Location! As for the condo whoever cleans before arrival I’m pretty sure has never used a mop and maybe not the broom. Couches in the living room need to go straight to the dump. They were so nasty we put down towels just to sit. The kitchen faucet was broken and no hot water in there. The toilet in the hallway needs to be bolted down. Last the kitchen is lacking pots, pans, bowls you pretty much need to bring your own from home if you plan on using the kitchen at all. I wouldn’t stay in this condo again.

We stayed for 3 days, but the basic supplies provided were not sufficient for the duration of the stay. Each bathroom had only one roll of toilet paper, the soap provided was very limited, and there was no laundry detergent or dishwasher soap available. When we asked about these items, the responses from the host felt rude, saying this is an Airbnb and not a hotel, and that only sample supplies would be provided. The outdoor sofa area was also very dusty and did not appear to have been cleaned before guests arrived. We also experienced a bathroom water leak during the middle of the night, where water leaked directly onto the kitchen countertop area, which was very inconvenient and concerning. Additionally, there was no outdoor grill or play equipment/activities arranged as expected. Overall, the stay could have been much better with proper cleaning, maintenance, and better guest communication

I have stated at 3 units in this complex (all different owners). immediately upon entering i was texting them about things being broken (in all my years of renting on airbnb...that is a 1st). I never got the internet info or info to get code the clubhouse (me and kids were outside until they texted the info). maintenance had to come at least 3 times. 20 min prior to checkout, I was getting my kids dressed. someone from the complex walked in on us. first they knocked so I put my kids in the room. that fast they took it upon themselves to enter the unit early. roughly 20 min after checkout I get a notification that they filed a claim for a broken lamp. 1. the lamp was already chipped. 2. the lamp still worked because I dif use it. they never even spoke to me. they just filed a claim even though I brought it to their attention other things were broken. when I confronted them...no replies. id NEVER stay at this unit again
