Great place to stay inside the Yosemite National Park. The location is great because you don’t have to wait hours in line at the entrance everyday. It is exactly as listed - cozy. 2 spacious bedrooms, one bathroom, and a small but workable kitchen. Entry floor has a small coat closet and living space with TV and fireplace. Climb a floor to the small kitchen, dining, and outdoor patio space. One more floor up to one bedroom and bathroom, and maybe 4-5 steps to another bedroom with queen + twin bed. Kitchen has basic equipment like coffee maker and toaster, plus enough pots, pans, cutlery, and dishes for 4-5 people. The house has a 5 people accommodation limit, and definitely no space for any more. We were a party of 4 adults who stayed comfortably. There aren’t any views, but if you are going be out in the park all day the lack of a view does not really bother. Yosemite valley is about 30-40mins drive, and glacier point is 20-30mins away. Would recommend for a small group.

Incredible place in a fantastic location. The home was very comfortable and worked really well for our stay. The only two areas for improvement were the mattresses, which we found old / too soft / uncomfortable, and the outdoor area. The BBQ and outdoor dining table were quite dusty when we arrived, so we ended up not using them. Overall, we had a great experience as the location and the interior areas of the house are amazing.

Great stay - very put together and had everything needed. Price is a little high but can’t get any cheaper being this close to Yosemite. Only thing I would change is it never dropped below 78° even at night inside with windows open and heater off.

As a family, we frequently stay in national parks and similar properties, so we understand that older cabins can have limitations. The location inside Yosemite is beautiful and was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the management and overall value were disappointing. Communication was poor. After our stay, I asked why our week was priced so much higher than other weeks and never received a response. We experienced multiple maintenance issues, including a broken microwave, noisy old beds, a frequently clogged toilet, and having to take our trash to community dumpsters every day. The biggest issue was the price. We paid approximately $5,300 for one week, which felt excessive given the condition of the property and level of service provided. After our stay, I noticed that most other weeks were priced closer to $3,500. Overall, the location is outstanding, but the experience did not justify the price we paid.

location is great, house is clean, but it's very small for what I paid for. very small living room, very small kitchen. bedrooms are ok. the worst thing is that we had to take out the trash bag in our car and drop it off at a dumpster that's blocks away. imagine if the garbage bag leaks.

I have never had a negative experience or had to write a bad review before. This was the most difficult, noisiest, dirtiest, most poorly kept place I’ve ever stayed in.There were spiders in every room.1 crawled on me while sleeping. The level of difficulty of getting up & down those stairs only to be met w more stairs when you come in the house itself was a nightmare. Entry light in the house didn’t work, broken trash can, someone left the HEAT (how?!) on & it was over 85° inside when I had to take 5 trips up & down those horrid stairs to get all of my items in. They claimed there is portable AC—it isn’t portable, only upstairs & doesn’t cool huge open space. There is no AC downstairs in the sleeping quarters so it is HOT. People slamming car doors starting at 5 & constant construction equipment sounds start at 6.Awful communication, power outages, outlets didnt work, laundry left on floor, broken windows/screens, you have to DRIVE your trash, outdoors broken/messy items, cold showers.

Do not stay here if you are planning on visiting popular destination for yosemite, such as the falls and mirror lake. It is about two hours away from yosemite valley. The host has a description of 20 miles from yosemite south entrance, which is about another 30 miles away from yosemite valley. Be aware of daily travel of total FOUR HOURS if your plan is to visit the most popular destination in yosemite.

Acorn properties pressured us into leaving positive feedback, stating they had left "glowing feedback" for us. I had a feeling they were sketchy and withheld my review. After two weeks (right before we could no longer leave a review), the script flips and they were "attacked" by my 4mo puppy along with several other ridiculous accusations. A blurry picture with nothing in it was provided as evidence. We stayed on a weekday and woke up many times due to my car alarm sounding and inebriated people partying late on the adjacent Acorn property. Drug activity (people living in their car) FEET from your window. The floors are peeling and GROSS. We couldn't determine if the bugs (especially on the couch) were fleas or bed bugs. We left the place in better condition then it came in and buried the puppy's poop, yet Carl came up with dozens of reasons (no exaggeration) why he has to keep our money. I have little doubt he does this to everyone and has zero concern about repeat business. 0/10.

It was a decent place to stay for a couple of nights. We had a couple of issues, but we made do. The biggest one was the lock on the thermostat. They wanted fees to basically be comfortable. The listing states it is “limited”, but doesn’t say what that limit is, and imo it’s locked too high for warm temps. We had to leave the door open to cool the place off. You can hear sounds from surrounding units, but that wasn’t too bad. The only other problem was the huge spider still occupying the bed when we arrived. Overall, it was ok for a quick visit.
