4.62Visit website
888 Luxury Rentals's guest rating of 4.62 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Unfortunately we feel the apartment was not represented properly, it's listed as a Luxury Suite, showing a pool in photos, but not stating that the pool was several buildings over. All windows in the suite looked onto either the alley (dumpster), the building next door (only a few feet away). We did not stay at the apartment, we rented a room in a hotel. We requested some sort of refund, but did not receive one.”airbnb

“This was a terrible experience for my family. Check-in was confusing: the host said instructions were in the chat's "details" section, but they weren't, and the listing had no check-in section either. They threatened to tow our car over the confusion. The unit had dirty floors, a moldy drain cover, and sparse kitchen amenities. We had to request paper towels and toilet paper. Hot water was inconsistent, and the host was dismissive, claiming staff confirmed it was hot and that the previous guest stayed three months without complaint (the listing shows separate guests monthly). They insisted "there are no issues with water heater." The washer/dryer showed an E30 error and was unusable. The host asked if we'd watched YouTube instructions, then said a part was ordered with no control over timing. When we requested a $300 refund, they offered $150 and said there's a shared laundry room (not mentioned earlier). We checked out early, and Airbnb stepped in after the host refused our request.”airbnb

“The apartment is a fairly peaceful neighborhood, easy access to the major expressway. But there really isn't much to do nearby, no shops, stores or parks. Just a place to shower and sleep before you continue with your trip. However, upon checked in, all of the rooms were in a complete mess. The bathroom looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time, hair clippings all over the floor, shower stained. The kitchen had food residues, trash hasn't been thrown out in a while... in short I nearly threw up. I left immediately and demanded a full refund. The pictures look clean and tidy but it looked like a frat house after a Friday night party. Really sucks had to deal with this surprise after a long flight. Be cautious, ask for latest pictures before booking.”airbnb

“Pictures on the add were not of the place I booked. They confirmed it to be the case. I felt it was dishonest and would not recommend working with dishonest people”airbnb

“The apt was as advertized. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped. No issues about the place itself. The host was something else. His instructions to access the apt were hard to find on the details. Upon asking via messages, his response was to go and check details instead of the actual answer. It took a day to fish thru details in different places within the app to find the parking sport number assigned to the apt. I also requested a late checkout if it was possible. His response that he can only allow a late checkout if i posted a five star review before the stay was over was unreasonable. A review is after the service is complete and if the service was good. Adding conditions does not earn a good review. So the reduced stars in overall rating is due to the host. Would try and find a different place if ever needed in that area.”airbnb
