30A Vacay
4.57Visit website
30A Vacay's guest rating of 4.57 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“First off, the home is beautiful and the location is perfect. The access to the pool, beach, and tram is fantastic. Unfortunately, we had issue after issue during the stay. The host provides "starter amenities only"- meaning 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and 1 kitchen trash bag. This is for a home for up to 10 guests and we had a 4 night stay. This is not acceptable in a stay at this price point. Second, the A/C was broken during the stay and maintenance arrived only AFTER we had checked out. The host provided box fans but in 85+ degree temperature in June, this was abysmal. The most disappointing was with the communication with the host. Slow response times, inaccurate listing of responsible parties, and miscommunication between staff members of the property management company was so frustrating. After the stay, we came to a resolution which was appreciated. Again, this home is GORGEOUS, but I would not stay here again, or book with this host again.”airbnb

“We were early for check in so I called to try and get in early and they responded fast and said we cannot. Which was totally fine no big deal, HOWEVER, at check in time we did not receive the code and waited and I called several times with no response. Maintenance left a mess and was trying to do stuff in our place and didn’t finish for hours. We waited outside in the rain with all our stuff. After we finally got inside the place was NOT CLEAN… I emailed to complain and we received no response for 4 days. We cleaned ourselves. They were no help. Just a simple apology and offered a discount for the future which is not useful whatsoever. The area is great but would not recommended 30A vacay homes as you will be surprised what you are walking into… $700 a night is very high for this type of behavior. Not acceptable.”airbnb

“Poor communication from the host. We had to wait 45 minutes past our agreed check in time to get into the rental. Had I not blown up their phone I’m not sure we would have ever received anything. The pictures look slightly doctored to hide the excessivly dirty couch and the scratches/damages to the property. We checked out after our first night as my wife was not happy with the cleanliness. No refund from the host. It was overall a bad experience + would not recommend.”airbnb

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay in 30A. The location was fantastic, the condo was clean, spacious, and great for a family, and the pool views and beach access made for a vacation experience. The main issue was communication with procedures. Before arrival, I called about the wristbands and was told they would be waiting inside the condo. After arriving, we learned that was incorrect and had to track down security to figure out we needed to check in through Pool Guest Services. There was also leaking food from a guest left outside the unit that we ended up handling ourselves after receiving no response. The most frustrating issue happened on checkout day. Although checkout was at 10 AM, the door code was deactivated around 7:30 AM while we were still inside preparing for an early flight. We received no response for over an hour and were eventually sent a one-time-use code. Had we left for breakfast as planned, we realistically could have been locked out and potentially missed our flight.”airbnb

“Beautiful location and well appointed condo right in the beach. Only disappointment is listing says beach chair service ($300 value) is included but it was not. Chair service owner told us all units except 1b paid for yearly service and when we asked leasing co. About it all they said was that information was not current so just beware.”airbnb

“Stayed here with friends for a wedding. The space was very nice for what we payed for. Only a few issues with the door code right when we got there it was the wrong code and then the next day the code wasn’t working again and had to get a new code. Super close to the beach. Some of the responses felt a little AI like when we asked where extra trash bags were because there was only one, and they said they only provide starter appliances? If I’m traveling and getting an air bnb and you expect me to take out trash you should be providing extra trash bags. Would stay here again, guess I’ll pack my trash bags.”airbnb

“First, the location was outstanding and the unit was accommodating. But there were items that should have been corrected prior to arrival. -Kitchen faucet hose is hanging out of its frame. Can only run water on spray; subsequently water sprays everywhere. -There is an abandoned, rusty fire pit laying in the flowerbed on the garage level patio area. -Laundry bi-fold doors came off the tracks upon opening the first time. -Mstr bdr shower faucet knob controlling the water temperature was not attached. Therefore the water temperature could not be adjusted. -Mstr bdr deck has a broken wood chair with slats missing and nails remaining. -The wooden slat fence along the beach path has fallen down which was unsightly and unsafe with rusty nails along the path. -There is NOT a BBQ grill as the listing had stated. Prior to arrival the host confirmed a grill was on site. The location at Inlet Beach was suburb. Generally the unit is adequately updated but found to be lacking in maintenance.”airbnb

“The house was in a perfect location, we enjoyed the pool and the amount of space the house had. The downfall was the lack of consideration to communicate with us when we had issues. I emailed and called twice and no one communicated back with me. The downstairs master is the worst bed I’ve ever slept on. The freezer door doesn’t close so all our food ruined. And there is bricks falling off the porch that my child tripped on. We ended up leaving early because we missed our bed so bad at home. It was very unfortunate the amount of money we paid to stay there and no one helped make our stay better. We won’t be returning to this house or using this property management group again.”airbnb

“The house and the location were great. However, the Hot-Tub frequently was not hot. When we emailed our concern either: we didn't hear anything for a long time or, in one case got a message back saying the water was 100 degrees even though it was icy cold. Also, they gave us the wrong code for the bicycle locks. After we tried them all repeatedly without success we finally tried putting in the house number instead of the code. The bikes were great. Other little things to consider: one extra roll of toilet paper for five bathrooms. (We put up post-its warning people 'NO TP') One roll of paper towels. No condiments like salt and pepper. In short, the house and location are great, the support could use some help.”airbnb

“I would not recommend this stay based upon noise from early morning deliveries, the place needing to be cleaned up (the furniture is stained and tired looking), lack of basic necessities such a blankets and toilet paper, and overall experience with the customer service. We had to use bathroom towels for blankets for 2 nights waiting on the management company to drop off blankets. It’s clear the condo is in need of some serious attention and could be a great place if it got cleaned up, updated and stocked with basic necessities.”airbnb
