“This was a super cute spot. We stayed with our two kids for a family vacation and the location was great. Right in the middle of all the attractions. You will definitely want to be aware that the spiral staircase requires care so if you have small kids or mobility issues this would not be the place for you. Overall we really liked staying here.”

“What a great place! Loved the water access and enjoyed using the kayaks/canoe. We stayed on the deck anytime we were there. East access to town. Was a bit tight with 6 adults, but it matched what they described. Stairs were no joke so be sure you know you’ll be climbing up into the top top of the house. Thanks for a great family trip!”

“When we arrived at the property, there was a noticeable smell of gas that was present throughout the house. After we turned off the gas valve, the smell stopped, but this was concerning at check-in. Later that evening, when we checked the beds, we found that the sheets were dirty, with visible hair on them. There were also spider webs, and the floors and bathrooms appeared uncleaned. We contacted Sand County, and to their credit, the next day someone came to clean the house and replace the sheets. However, even after the cleaning, the floors were still dirty. In addition, the property is very outdated and much smaller than it appeared in the listing photos. Overall, while the management did respond after we reported the issues, the initial cleanliness, safety concerns, and condition of the property made our stay uncomfortable.”
