“We were concerned with the lack of maintenance upon our arrival. Missing/burnt or light bulbs Maintenance came and were careless when it came to repairs. They had to replace an outlet that crumbled when we tried to use it and blew the circuit breaker. He did not turn off the current to the outlet even when we suggested it. One outlet did not have a cover on it. Kitchen lights had to be completely replaced. Air conditioning unit is on its last legs. Very noisy unit and could not keep up with the heat. We had to purchase a fan so the bedroom could get cooled off. Bathroom needs a better patch job on the wall, base board missing. You can see old wallpaper from the 70s. Dirty dishes in the cupboard. Overall place was clean. More maintenance and esthetics problems was disconcerting”

“I am so glad I selected Richie Village for my extended stay. The entire experience was exactly what I needed. The home was so comfortable and relaxing. I loved the attached garage. The scenery was beautiful, especially the evening I looked out my front window as the sun was setting, and two newborn fawns were lying on my front lawn, looking back at me. It is very walkable. The location provides quick access to outstanding grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers, and bike trails. It is just minutes away from Appleton's wonderful, fun-filled downtown. Laura and staff are there for you 24 -7. I called for a minor repair, and workmen were at my door within an hour. The rates are very reasonable. They excel in hospitality. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.”

“We stayed at the property for about 10 weeks between April and June 2026. The place and neighborhood is very quiet. I was able work as needed remotely without any issues or concerns. Accommodations were comfortable and clean and we had no issues whatsoever with the internal climate, wifi or other technology during our entire stay. We were close to stores and restaurants as well as some very nice running trails and parks. I would stay here again if I ever need longer term lodging in the area.”
