“This place is hard to find if you’re arriving at night. You need a suv or truck with 4WD because the terrain is rocks and branches, on a long drive up. Upon arriving to the house there is no central AC so there are portable ac units placed everywhere. There was an odd smell throughout the home, and spiders were crawling and hanging down from the ceiling. The bathroom shower head was dirty. The place is really outdated and looks nothing like the photos. We did not stay one full night as it was very uncomfortable. And it’s not at the base of Massanutten. It’s about 45 mins away. We did end up finding a place at the base of massanutten.”
