“We loved staying in your cabin. It was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. It was a great place to hang out with my family. There are a few things we wanted to mention. The first is a safety issue. When we unlocked the middle window in the second king bedroom, the top window slammed down. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and we have a few suggestions: It would be helpful to have more serving bowls and some storage containers and more kitchen towels or something to wipe the counters. The barn door in the master suite doesn’t stay closed. There was an incident with the refrigerator. We began to notice a. smell that quickly became terribly pungent like a dead mouse. It turned out there was a slimy substance on the motor casing of the fridge. We cleaned it up but we thought you should know about it. I will definitely return when I’m back in Virginia. “This place is wonderful!! We booked last minute without doing a ton of research and happened to end up in this amazing place in such beautiful scenery. It’s private and so cozy, close to a million wineries (5 min away), has an adorable downtown nearby. The place itself was SO nice. You can tell that the owners have thought about the little things (little shower amenities), nice decor, modern appliances, etc. Loved it!”
