“The house and surroundings are lovely but the host never responded to any messages so hope you don’t need anything.”

“The house was great, the view is even better! Peaceful but entertaining. Loved the dock with the kayaks. Kept everyone happy and busy. Loved that the house wasn’t bare, extra bathroom and kitchen supplies in the cabinets were helpful.”

“We drove more than 3½ hours only to arrive at an old house that was infested with mice. Within five minutes of checking in, we saw a mouse run past us into the laundry room. As we looked around, we found mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets, on the carpets in multiple rooms, and throughout different areas of the house. The kitchen was also dirty, and there was trash left behind, which was unacceptable.We immediately brought these issues to the host’s attention.Despite the circumstances, the host took no accountability for the condition of the property. Her responses were passive aggressive, and she was unwilling to offer any compensation for the inconvenience. After we sent multiple photos showing mouse droppings throughout the home, she eventually stopped responding altogether. Several members in group chose to leave the same day, and the rest of us ended our stay a day early because of the mouse infestation and the unsanitary conditions of the home.PLEASE DONT STAY HERE!!!”

“Standouts… loved the big fenced backyard for the dogs. Enjoyed the hot tub. The theater and game basement was great. Love the many recliners! Some small suggestions: -Couple of chairs for the front porch -small stash of Tupperware for leftovers -more than one dish cloth -bath mat for the master bathroom -couple of starter trash bags -couple of blankets in the theater room -placemats or tablecloth (nice table, didn’t want it scratched up so we use paper towels as placemats) Appreciated: -detergent supply -nice washer dryer -shampoo, conditioner soap lotion -loved hot tub was enclosed and private! -cleanliness -comfy, patio furniture and rug FYI…. notice somebody did a review about ants. We had absolutely no issues. It was resolved. My family enjoyed our stay. Thank you.”

“The property itself was great. The location was excellent, the dock and boat slip were perfect for our group, the house was spacious, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Unfortunately, the host's lack of responsiveness significantly impacted our stay. The master shower would not turn off from the start of the trip and was unusable for the entire week. We were told to shut off the home's main water supply if needed, and the host even implied we may have caused the problem. A repair technician visited Tuesday, said he needed a part, and never returned. Communication became increasingly sporadic and then stopped completely after Tuesday despite multiple messages about unresolved issues. Other problems included unreliable gate access, which left us stranded outside numerous times, and no electricity in most of the basement. While the property was very nice, the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through from the host was extremely disappointing.”
