“The house itself is lovely, with upscale appliances, nice furnishings and a well-stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, management was a major disappointment. A storm knocked out power and brought down a large tree in the backyard our first night. I called and messaged Kristie at 6:59 PM to report both and NEVER received a call or message back during our entire stay which lasted until Tuesday. With no power, we also had no water. A generator was onsite and running but wasn't powering the house, and we had no one to help. Thankfully, power returned around 1 AM. Maintenance also seems to be slipping, with lights out, worn weather stripping and overgrown landscaping. Wi-Fi was inadequate for our group of 14, and the only TV is in the basement without streaming access. Also, bring toiletries, as only small samples are provided. A beautiful home that could be excellent with better maintenance and, most importantly, responsive management. TBH, I only gave them a 4 because a 3.5 was not an option”

“Our stay at the Christmas Cabin was wonderful. We are a group of childhood and college friends that still get together once a year. The location on Lake Anna was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin is large with plenty of space for a large group to spread out. We enjoyed having a large dining area to eat and the downstairs was perfect for watching football and hanging out after the lake. Most people rent a lake house to enjoy the lake, and we were no different. The dock area and setup was phenomenal. We would come back just for the dock area. There was cover when a small rain storm passed through and there were lights and electricity. Highly recommend the Christmas Cabin!”

“Fabulous lake house with all you need. We came with grandparents and 2 little kids and it was perfect. Loved having a little beach area and dock, and easy drive to state park. Stocked with everything you need, beautiful views, a pleasant stay all around - I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Decent place to enjoy Lake Anna. Several things left us wanting including not having access to any “lake gear”, no ability to have a campfire, and a more thorough pre-arrival cleaning regiment. Liked the place but expected a bit more given the price tag.”

“House is great, especially the common space. Bedrooms are a bit small, but doubt anyone spends too much time in those rooms. The dock is nice and large, and they provide kayaks, paddleboards, and pedal boats. Water level is very low. It was only about a foot for us but lake was down about 2 feet. Its about a 12 minute drive from the bridge, restaurants and groceries. Would return to Lake Anna but look for a place with better water.”
