“House is great, spotless and great distant from beach… however.. the water smells so bad that it was really hard to shower and brush your teeth with, it was brown, strong smell of rust and sewer mix. Only other thing, whoever owns this house has no clue that they do not have an electronic keypad on the actual door, they have a key lock box downstairs on a pole that you have to find and figure out yourself, you then get the keys and manually unlock the door. Took us 30 minutes to figure out before we got a response and they still stated there was an electronic keypad on door.”

“The location of this home is perfect. Literally steps from the beach. It had all cooking utensils needed to eat at home, plenty of space for us to spread out, and matched the description A few things about the home I would note: -instructions to enter the home are very confusing. There is no electronic keypad at the door- the key to the door is found in an electronic LOCK BOX located on one of the pillars downstairs near the stairs - there is NO house manual or any sort of instructions for the home on how to use the thermostat, local recommendations, grocery stores, bait spots, check in/out instructions, etc. all air bnbs I have stayed at in the past have this making it helpful for things in the area and home - the water is BROWN and has a very strong odor of rust. It was gross when showering, brushing teeth, etc. but apparently this is a problem local to the area and not on the home owner. - the grass is tall where you park leading to a ton mosquitos Overall we had an amazing stay!”

“The location could not be better! The beds were comfy but they could use more furniture and seating inside. Outside the patios are very enjoyable at all hours of the day. They had coffee, kitchen utensils etc to make the stay comfortable. We had a great time and would definitely be back. There were a few issues though that might be deal breakers for suture rentersz The outdoor shower wasn’t installed properly so it won’t spray on you unless you’re 6ft tall. Be aware, bring plenty of water to drink, cook with, brush teeth etc bc the tap water is horrible. Not sure it’s the fault of the property based on what I have seen, overall surfside has bad tap water. It is really bad however. The water has a visible color and strong odor. Also the code for the door isn’t actually on the door, it’s on a key lock box downstairs. The instructions were unclear on that, luckily the cleaning lady was there when I arrived.”
