“We rented the Farm House, Bunk House, and Cottage for a weekend with family and friends before our daughter’s wedding. The property was a beautiful space for everyone to gather, but there were some issues upon arrival. The Cottage had not been cleaned, and the Bunk House doorknob was broken. I called and messaged the owners several times and received a response about 1½–2 hours later. They did send someone that evening to clean the Cottage and took note of our other concerns, saying they would submit a maintenance ticket. While the cleanliness and communication issues were disappointing, we appreciated that they addressed the Cottage that evening. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend and the opportunity to have everyone together. The property has a lot of potential and was a memorable place to stay for such a special weekend.”

“Booked for my husband's 40th birthday with 17 guests, expecting a memorable celebration. It was stressful throughout, despite the host's efforts to patch things up. We arrived early to setup and found the detached bunkbed suite hadn't been cleaned at all — we waited hours for the cleaner before we could unpack. Leftover 4th of July decor suggested the home hadn't been cleaned in a month. Bugs were everywhere, balconies and patio furniture covered in spider webs and bird droppings, and the pool needed skimming ourselves, no hair dryers and 7 pool towels for 17 guests over 3 days. Staff eventually gave us the supply closet passcode so we could restock the basics. Both coffee makers were dirty and broken; had to asked a friend to bring a coffee pot, and the host eventually shipped one via Amazon. The lake dock was unreachable. Our late checkout request was denied. The AC switched to heat hourly overnight...in Texas. We'd expected the basics in place for this price. Wouldn't recommend.”
