“We rented the Farm House, Bunk House, and Cottage for a weekend with family and friends before our daughter’s wedding. The property was a beautiful space for everyone to gather, but there were some issues upon arrival. The Cottage had not been cleaned, and the Bunk House doorknob was broken. I called and messaged the owners several times and received a response about 1½–2 hours later. They did send someone that evening to clean the Cottage and took note of our other concerns, saying they would submit a maintenance ticket. While the cleanliness and communication issues were disappointing, we appreciated that they addressed the Cottage that evening. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend and the opportunity to have everyone together. The property has a lot of potential and was a memorable place to stay for such a special weekend.”

“I was really looking forward to staying at the Farmhouse and celebrating my son's wedding with family, however the weekend turned sour due to the terrible condition of the place. The space would have worked out great, but because the cottage was filthy we had to double up in other rooms and be very uncomfortable. The property was either not cleaned from the previous renter or they had squatters living there. Trash was scattered everywhere, beds were clearly slept in, and dirty towels scattered throughout. The glasses were filled with dead bugs, and shower curtains covered in grim. I called the host 2x and sent several messages with photos thru the app but never got a response or call back. I didn't want to rate this a 1 star and wouldn't have if only the host would have responded and cleaned the property. I do not recommend this property simply because of the poor cleanliness and lack of ownership and communication from the host.”

“Great place to go to get away. 40 minute drive to Belleville, 20 minute drive to Brenham. Nice quiet place to relax and enjoy time off.”
