“As a fellow host I didn’t know this kind of thing existed. It’s a hotel room they book in your name. You request to book and they have you cancel the request so they can send the offer from a separate account. I should have known then. When I got there I went to the front desk. They said we don’t do Airbnb and we are strictly a sole owned hotel. These are not condos. They looked my name up in the system and found me. Turns out I paid $800 more for my room then it would have cost to book at the hotel room. If I wanted a hotel I would have booked a hotel. Total scam!”
