“King Bear, was the perfect cabin for our family to stay in while we packed in zip lining, whitewater rafting and hiking. The only issue we had is, we wish we could’ve stayed longer! We will return! The cabin had so many amenities that we enjoyed. From the fire pit, to the hot tub, after a long day of zip lining and hiking, it was just what we needed to recover and relax. We were able to grill a nice meal for our family and prepare a nice breakfast before we started our day. Thank you, Brent for allowing us to stay at King Bear and for communicating with me that you were available if we needed anything. From the helpful suggestion you gave us on the hike, to your open communication from the time of booking to check out, you were an excellent host. I appreciate the hospitality and the excitement you have for King Bear and the beautiful scenery and outdoor adventures that surround it. You truly have a gem!”

“We booked this location for a family getaway to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and Father’s Day weekend, and it absolutely met our expectations. There were six of us in total, and the house accommodated everyone comfortably. Each pair had their own bathroom, plus there was an additional half bath in the main living area, which was very convenient. The location worked out perfectly for exploring nearby wineries and charming towns. We even took a day trip to Gatlinburg. It was about 2.5 hours each way and completely worth it! We also enjoyed the jacuzzi, which was the perfect place to sit back and relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of space throughout the entire house. Getting to the property was easy and hassle-free. This has definitely become one of our favorite places to stay. We can’t wait to come back to Brent’s place! Communication with Brent was excellent, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place enough.”
