Cabins USA in Gatlinburg, Tennessee

“This house is beautiful, gorgeous location and a great spot to have a vacation. However, we did have some issues that I believe need improving. — our check in time was at 4PM, we arrived at 430PM and there was a truck in the driveway. We soon found out it was the cleaning lady and she was there until about 450PM. There was no communication about this and it was really unappreciated to show up and someone being there without us knowing and not being able to check in at our check in time (even after the check in time). We also had to ask the host to unlock the door every time because the door code never worked. The pool room was so unbelievably hot the first day we could not use it, they finally had a guy come out and fix it later that night. Went to use it the rest of the time and it was so chemically that we couldn’t be in longer than 10 minutes. The pool was one of the reasons we wanted this house. Other than these issues the house was beautiful and we had a fun time.”

“I will start with the positives. It’s an absolutely beautiful home. The location in proximity to downtown Gatlinburg is great. Communication was good. The AC was broken but they tried to address it quickly. The downsides. It was not clean. There were excessive amounts of dead flying ants all over the ground that had to be cleaned up multiple times. The floors had not been swept or vacuumed and it was very apparent. Lots of cut corners. Like our 7 year old almost fell off the dining stool because the seat wasn’t even attached. Be prepared to bring EVERYTHING. There were few common conveniences like salt or a small amount of coffee or filters to get you started. One garbage bag was provided. We had to purchase far more than we have ever needed to at the many Air BNB’s we stayed at.”
