Rufia’s Condos in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

“place was really nice just not enough towels and extra linens. We had 8 people and every couple had to share a towel and wash cloth. The bed I sat on and the whole bed almost fell over on me they are on metal frame and almost landed on the floor. You only get 2 room keys between 8 people and 2 car tags and we had 6 bikes for 8 people and only 2 parking spots. We were woke up at 2 qm by security telling us we had to go down with our kids and get tags for each one of our bikes no exception and was questioning us about having 8 guest. Hallways were super hot. Other than that it was ok.”

“Not sure where to begin. This is for the condo at Breakers. Host is unresponsive. If you like communication and back and forth texting, this is not the condo for you. Since no early check in is available, I asked the host plenty of times if we could still arrive early to use the pools and the host would never respond. We found waterbugs in the kitchen. The building had a fire alarm go off and the condo had no fire alarms to alert us that a potential fire was happening. My grandmother who can barely walk had a hard time going up and down the elevators because they would always break down and only 1 of the 3 elevators would work. The rugs look like they were never ever cleaned, they are so dirty and sticky. The parking garage sucks, always full of cars. We did not have access to all the pools because we were “Airbnb” guests. The pool were so full, they were no where to put our things and my grandmother did not have a place to sit. wish I could be more descriptive but I’m limited”

“The location is very nice but that very first night my two daughters got bit by bed bugs on the first room on the left of room 1602. Then at the sink we found a couple of roaches. The very last day Rufia did offer to give us another room on Sunday and let us stay two more days free of charge but we had to return to work and couldn't find another place to stay so we ended up leaving the day we had booked on Monday morning . It totally ruined our vacation thinking of bed bugs and roaches taging along to our home. All bed sheets have stains and hairs on it. I have pictures of the stains, the bites and the roaches. It was just dirty beddings on all beds. The location was great but whoever is cleaning it isn't doing a decent job at all.”

“Very close to the beach. Nice size rooms. A/C works good. Clean dishes and kitchen. Nice balcony view.”
