“Our stay at this lakeside retreat was dampened from the constant rain but the home was very homey and cozy while we watched the rain fall. I loved the rustic feel of the wooded walls and doors and cabin like feel of the kitchen. This is what we were looking for with our children. Please note that two of the rooms are down in the basement which was only accessible from the outside and was locked off from the rest of the house. So two of our guests would need to go outside to get to their rooms. The home was clean and had a wonderful view - we were gifted with the site of an eagle for 4 hours, who perched on a tree in front of the lake. It was beautiful. The house was clean and well maintained. The one night it did not rain (April showers!) we went out on the kayaks which was lovely.”
