“I stayed here with a few friends for a ski trip at meadows. We had a wonderful time!! Super easy drive to the mountain and the cabin was the PERFECT way to spend the evenings after a full day of skiing. We loved the wood burning furnace and the cozy vibes. Super easy to walk to the town and grab a bite to eat too.”

“The location was great, and we really loved the fireplace. However, while the house itself was beautiful, the very strict rules made us feel unwelcome. The listing stated that the property was “pet-friendly” (which I’m sure they will change), but upon arrival there was a clear “no dogs” notice, which was frustrating. Luckily we had our friends a few streets over that were able to take our dog. The stove/oven was also a mystery when it came to temperature settings and definitely needs updating. The house felt somewhat cluttered and was not as clean as expected. Also, there was no flexibility at all with the cancellation policy, even though we were more than a month out from our stay—they don’t mess around so be careful. We’ve stayed at other places in Government Camp that offered a much better experience for the price.”
