“The Airbnb itself is beautiful, and the hot tub and outdoor fireplace were great. However, our experience started poorly. For my girlfriend’s birthday, we asked about early check-in. Despite being told it wasn't possible on the day off arrival, we arrived at 2:30 PM to find no cleaners present. The host then claimed they had just finished but warned us the property hadn't been inspected. We offered to wait until 4 PM, but the host then encouraged us to enter anyway. This felt like an attempt to avoid responsibility if the cleanliness wasn't up to standard. We checked in at 3 PM. The floors hadn't been properly vacuumed, dog hair was on the floors, the couch and on the bed. We found shaved hair in a bathroom sink. Numerous stink bugs were inside, especially around windows. The grill was unusable because the gas knobs didn't work. Also, be aware of the $25 early check-in/late check-out fee. The host was otherwise responsive, but cleanliness and maintenance need improvement.”
