“Oh my goodness...the VIEW! Everything about the house was wonderful - so clean, well laid out, tastefully decorated and comfortable (did I mention the view?). Looking down in the valley and Lake Chatuge below looked like a surreal backdrop. We enjoyed the sunsets out on the deck, where the solar screens provided shade as needed. There was plenty of space to accommodate, where my in-laws joined us for drinks on the porch (and steaks on the grill). :) My mother took the downstairs bedroom while my husband and I stayed in the loft (which had a comfortable couch as well). The house was located just minutes away from Margarita Jack's for food, Amelia's for coffee, and Pic-a-Nick for sandwiches. Nearby destinations included Hiawassee, of course, but we explored the Jack Rabbit and the Chatuge Dam trails. The house is in an ideal location for exploration. I will so rent this place again!”
