“The cabin was very private, quiet, and peaceful. The only visitors we had were a family a dear that would stop by at dusk to visit the backyard. The house was well equipped with pretty much everything you would need during your stay, plus some surprising extras. Lots of thoughtful touches. The view is a peaceful setting in the woods, with a small mountain peak in the distance. Not a bad spot to have morning coffee. The location is great, with a quick drive to either Boone or blowing Rock, and right near the BRP. The last 50 or so yards of road to reach the cabin is a pretty rough dirt road with ruts and potholes. No problem in an SUV, but would be tough in a very low ground clearance vehicle. The solitude of the house is worth the drive! We would stay here again.”

“We had the most amazing stay at Little Creek Retreat! The house is absolutely wonderful! It has so many small touches like toiletries in the bathroom, toys and puzzles for the kids, and plenty of towels (for showering and the hot tub!). Our favorite place to hang out was definitely the outside deck, with the giant swing and lots of places to sit and take in the peaceful surroundings. The host was fantastic, and quickly responded to any and all questions! Will definitely stay again!”

“Little creek retreat was the perfect getaway for our family. The home was cozy and had so much character. You’re immediately immersed into nature with the sense of privacy all while being so close to nearby restaurants and town! We enjoyed going down to the little creek, getting some hot tub time, visiting tweetsie with our little one, and even saw a mama bear and her cub! It’s a beautiful home and was a wonderful mountain getaway.”
