Red Cottage in West Kill, New York

“We were eight on our annual upstate NY trip, and thoroughly loved our time at Red Cottage. The location, while quite far from restaurants/towns, is serenely quiet and peaceful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are generously sized, with shockingly high quality linens (the pillows were a highlight). The kitchen was well equipped to cook for our large group, and the grill outside was put to great use. I cannot overstate how stunning the view into the backyard was - sky, mountain, grassy valley - we often just sat in the living room taking in the environs. The fire pit is also in the perfect location to take in the valley and see the stars on a clear night. I’d wholeheartedly come back, and recommend Red Cottage to anyone looking for peace, quiet, and nature.”

The house is beautifully designed and has everything you could possibly need. The property is huge and beautiful. There were so many games and activities, and everyone had their own room with a bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable. We truly recommend this place for big groups and would gladly come back again!”
