“Beautiful house, everything we needed for a weekend away, with beautiful views over the lake. Note: you can't swim in the lake which I believe is in the listing but I didn't realize until arriving. We had issues checking in - the Wander app didn't give us the door code so we had to wait about 45m whilst the team figured out a plan - a little frustrating, but they found a way in. Just to keep in mind - make sure you have the code before. Also, there's construction happening pretty close and we could hear them starting about 7am (weekday), so not total peace and serenity. Saying all that, it's a great house, everything we needed.”

“We could not have asked for a better weekend. The home is beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by a fully stocked kitchen with all of the gadgets, utensils and pots/pans, including a cast iron that a cook could want. The house overlooks a lake which is truly breathtaking and the furnishings/decor make it really easy to relax and enjoy. Wander was also outstanding. Responded to questions immediately, felt as though they knew every inch of the house. Highly recommend the Lake House and renting with Wander.”

“What a beautiful house and what a beautiful setting! Our family of five had a wonderful stay. From sitting out on the deck watching deer wander by to paddling around the pond, it was a relaxing setting. Things to do - bike trails, hikes, disc golf, dinners - were an easy 20 minutes to half hour away. The house was extremely comfortable, with every amenity provided. The kitchen was easy to cook in, with everything you would want from home (pots, mixer, kitchen utensils). Highly recommend!”

“On the positive, house is spacious, with gorgeous views of the beautiful surroundings. Very quiet and peaceful. John was warm and responsive. Wonderful basket of snacks welcomed us. On the negative, when we arrived, the house was hot and it took 45 mins to figure out the AC. It was not all central AC as advertised - didn't work in some rooms. We noticed portable air conditioners in closets but no instructions. Master BR was hot on arrival. The temp control on the wall is actually for the living room downstairs - no instructions. The room has an individual AC in the ceiling, operated by a remote that was hard to find and harder to figure out. Rough start to the visit. The instructions in the online "manual" seemed general for multiple properties, not specific to this house. Also, while the house felt private, when in the shower of the master bathroom there is a huge window with no blinds on the opposite wall so anyone could see you. I showered in daytime for that reason.”
