“Pros: Beautifully designed home in a stunning location with incredible views. The primary suite bathroom is especially impressive and the separate guest house is a nice option for larger groups or multi-family stays. Cons: There is a vague guest book and the initial address was incorrect. Verify the address! The guest house is about a 5-minute walk from the main house and the path was not clearly marked. During our stay, it had a noticeable odor that was not resolved, lacked window coverings for privacy, and the bathroom door would not fully close. In the main house, the downstairs guest bathroom is very small with a rainfall shower that may be uncomfortable for taller guests. Guest beds are futons rather than standard full or queen beds. Communication was responsive but often lacked specific answers. Some maintenance issues, including low pool water and several non-functioning exterior lights, were not addressed during our stay, which was concerning given the remote setting.”airbnb

“Beautiful home in an extremely private, remote and quiet location. Lovely kitchen, master shower and pool”airbnb

“We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful private house! Access was a bit tricky initially due to a recent ice storm in which the host could've been a bit more proactive in treating the driveway / walkways to the front door. Access to the hot tub was also difficult due to a lack of shoveling the back patio / pool area and the doors to the screened in porch being frozen shut. The outdoor shower was completely blocked by snow and ice. The guest house access was also not plowed or shoveled. It was apparently snow flea season (not actual fleas, snowfleas are springtails) so the entire landscape was covered in tiny black bugs. They didn't particularly bother us in the hot tub, but very well could bother others more sensetive to insects. They stayed out of the house though luckily! The reco for 4WD / AWD vehicle is especially true in winter / spring as the driveway became very soft and muddy during the day, and slippery at night. Overall great house and responsive host, would stay again!”airbnb
