Red Cottage in Stone Ridge, New York

“I had such a lovely stay at this house! It is pristine, and beautifully and thoughtfully outfitted. The people who own this house have a high attention to detail and quality. For example, the shower products were really nice and there was a large selection of excellent teas. They didn't skimp. The decor is both minimalist but with a cheeky flair. Loved the light fixtures! I also appreciated that everything was "fool proof." The house was easy to get into, the coffee maker was easy to operate, and the air conditioner and TV were easy to turn on and off. Seems obvious but not all houses are like this! The hot tub as well was really nice and super clean. It was also a very peaceful stay; even though technically we weren't far from other houses, it was quiet and you couldn't see lights from other houses. It was easy to get into Kingston (about a 15 min drive). I would definitely recommend staying here!”

“Such a wonderful spot, when can we come back? The cottage is the perfect getaway. Has everything you need for a cozy, restful trip the mountains. This authentic log cabin has all the amenities of a luxury hotel plus a wood stove, a stone fireplace and a well-stocked kitchen. The Red Cottage hosts were exceptionally responsive  and the location is pretty terrific, with a view of the Catskills and a creek running through the property. It’s an easy drive into Stone Ridge for restaurants and a good launch point for visiting other charming towns in the area.”
