“We loved our stay in Pine Plains with the whole family! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and a wonderful place to relax together. We made some delicious family meals in the gourmet kitchen, which was incredibly well equipped—it seemed to have every gadget and type of pan you could possibly need, including great cast-iron and stainless-steel cookware. We especially loved eating outdoors under the trees. Any little question or problem we had was taken care of right away, or we were quickly shown how to handle it. It was a wonderful escape from the city and a perfect place to spend time together as a family. Highly recommend!”

“Overall, we had a lovely stay and the house was perfect for our family’s needs. The property is beautiful, and we’d definitely look to stay again. Red Cottage was also very responsive. A few issues kept this from being a 5-star stay. The house didn’t seem fully ready at check-in, there were live birds in the chimney that impacted the use of 2 bedrooms, and the heated pool did not function well all the time. The Red Cottage team addressed all of our feedback promptly and I have all the confidence that these issues will be corrected to ensure the next visitor's stay is a 5-star.”
