“We booked a weekend with our family friends for a trip upstate with our young kids. The house itself is an older home as listed but the space especially the living areas were spacious so there were lots of places for the kids to play and run around. The rooms varied in terms of size and cleanliness (e.g. some room carpets had stains versus others that didn't) but it was good amount of space for a big group like ours. The third floor rooms have window AC units versus the rest of the home. Another thing to note is that there is a nest camera/motion sensor in the living area that controls the temp - I do wish this was stated in the guide since it caught me by surprise since some of us didn't know if it was just a camera. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the pool. David the host was very proactive in communication and easy to reach when we ran into issues through our stay.”airbnb

“We had a wonderful stay for a long weekend with 12 adults, dogs, babies and toddlers. Was very well appointed with absolutely anything you need we found to ourselves often saying “I wonder if they have…” and the answer was always “yes””airbnb

“This place is so special! Lots of space for our group of 10, beautiful outdoor area and views, and an incredible (well-stocked) kitchen for cooking. Would stay again!”airbnb

“I recommend it for a family weekend getaway - beautiful grounds and so much outdoor space for the kids to run around and activities. There was a zip line, ping pong table, and plenty of board games so the kids were occupied the entire weekend. The inside fit us all (9 adults, 6 kids) comfortably and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is a Victorian house so a little old in places, creaky and thin walls. Make sure to bring shower supplies as that was not supplied, but definitely pleasantly surprised with how good the hot water was. Only bummer was that even though we paid a premium for the pool, we didn’t swim in it because it was so cold even though it was 70s and sunny outside during the day. I think the heater just isn’t equipped to recover from the cooler night of upstate New York.”airbnb
