“Great location on a well maintained property. Great space for two (smaller) families. It’s a .8 mile walk to the main pavilion. While there are plenty of beds, the loft area has a steep set of stairs that might not be ideal for everyone. Unit is a bit dated but very clean. Pool would be a great family option (we don’t use it) but it looked very nice. We (two couples) were there for 3 nights and it worked well for us.”

“Upon walking in to this house with my kids, it was about 45 degrees. It was an unseasonably cold weekend,but this is NY and the listing advertises year round rental with heat.Turns out, there is NO working heat,so the staff on call had to drop off small space heaters which tripped the electrical breaker!The WiFi was unusable through the duration of our 4 night stay,which also meant no tv.The propane ran out of the filthy grill after one use.The screens were not on the second floor porch which is advertised as screened in and the hammock was in the bedroom. The garbage cans were under the house and I had to retrieve using the small door like a crawl space. The kitchen amenities are extremely limited and the microwave was unplugged.The fireplace and tv had to be turned on using a random light switch in the living room that I had to figure out because there were absolutely NO instructions. Overall, my worst Airbnb experience ever!”

“It was hot and stuffy when we got in. We had to fuss with old windows and figure out the central and window air-conditioning for the first night, but we got there, and found the right balance for the weather. It was generally very clean, except for the floors. Nice porch. Well appointed kitchen. Location is close to the lake and the Hall of Philosophy. Enjoyed using the grill and the on-site parking was a big plus. We'd rent there again now that we know the ropes for keeping it cool.”

“Great house with plenty of room to spread out. Appliances were a bit old and no stove exhaust fan made some of the cooking a challenge. The elevator was a savior and well appreciated!”
