We really wanted to love this place!! In certain aspects, we absolutely did. The beds were soooo comfy (wish I looked at the mattresses!) and most amenities lovely. Cons: - tubs were worn & pealing on the bottom - no couch in the greenhouse as shown - no stool in the kitchen and some stuff was way too high to reach - broken glass all over the lawn and a knife under a lawn chair - pricing was $500 more for our weekend compared to other near weekends (wasn't that when we booked) - they must have lowered the rate due to lack of booking, it made us feel like we overpaid - no tupperware, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. for any kind of food storage. we made it work by putting plates on top but this feels like a no-brainer for an airbnb stay - communication with the management was awful. I asked about firewood for the outdoor pit, they told me there was no pit, and every question on issues had so much back&forth / lag / lack of clarity bcs of their "team" - $200 refund for $3.5k stay was low

Host was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Home was very large and walkable to town.

This place is beautiful and well located. However, they didn't have basic amenities — especially in the kitchen — so you will have to plan accordingly. For example, no olive oil, aluminum foil, hand towels, drying rack, etc. There also weren't enough towels provided.

The perfect place for my group of 16 girlfriends! Everything was super clean and there was more than enough space for everyone. The coziest stay, couldn’t recommend enough. Wish more Airbnbs were just as nice as Red Cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were a large group with toddlers, and the space felt safe and comfortable for families. The home was simple, spacious, and kept beautifully warm. We also loved the clean, modern décor. A wonderful retreat—we’d happily return. We’d also love to visit in the summer months. The town is an easy walk to restaurants like Black Walnut, coffee shops, breweries, and a fun tapas & wine bar that we really enjoyed. We visited the Seminary Hill which was just a 4min drive and Villa Roma. Really great location and home, I recommend for group trips.
