Our stay was amazing - the home was so beautiful with 360 views of the surrounding mountains. Valdez is the most beautiful little sacred valley in Taos. What a beautiful home and had everything you needed. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, hot tub, the fire place would’ve been amazing in the fall/winter. There was even a dog run for the pups which was so great. Long drive way made for a great morning/evening walk with the dogs. Lots of local hikes in the ski valley. There’s no AC so it was warm given the time of year but they offered many fans and all the windows crank out so it was great. Valdez is amazing because it is its own little getaway from town but only 20-25 minutes to town. Such a gem! The hosts were great and responsive the whole time.

Abode was very good at communicating and finding us an alternative place to stay after our first booking ran out of water. We enjoyed our stay and how close it was to town! The beds were very comfortable and the yard was great for my pup and my kiddos!

The abode is nice: it is furnished with taste and it feels like a real house. Communication with the host was seamless, less so with the management company. You should consider staying here, if you are a party of 4 to 5 people, looking for a quiet staying and don't mind being 20-something minutes by car from Taos Pueblo. The kitchen is well furnished and the view is quite nice.

We stayed here to get a break from the city. Neither words nor pictures can describe how magical this place is. Gorgeous moderate sized house in an even more beautiful location. All amenities of home +hot tub. Views from house and hot tub astounding. Property is secluded, peaceful. Woke up our first am to half a dozen deer grazing out the living room window, on a backdrop of snow capped mountains. Trail right outside front door leads to Carson national forest. Hiked there 3 of our days - there are multiple unlabelled (but obvious) trails along a large stream which head up to several local peaks and down a couple canyons. Never saw another soul. Both the location and the home/property perfect for our two now exhausted and very happy dogs. Short (beautiful) drive to Taos Ski Valley. We also did Williams/Wheeler, and also took shorter hikes along 150. Even in the drought, there were streams, wildflowers. Extended stay an extra night because it was too amazing to leave. Will return!

This was our 1st time at this house yet it's now one of my favorite airbnb experiences. The house is tastefully furnished, geared toward serene relaxation - orderly without being stuffy. The living room is perfect for enjoying the views, w/windows on 3 sides. We had a fire on the 1st night and the very dry wood provided was great. The hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing (until the wind started blowing the cover around). I will echo another reviewer and say that having heated floors in the bath and bedroom was SUCH a nice treat. I appreciated that the kitchen is stocked with most utensils one would need, and the pans are of good quality. There is only salt and pepper, so bring whatever spices you need to make your meals. Kudos to the management company (very responsive) and the cleaning staff (thorough and detail-oriented). Added bonus: plenty of area around the house to walk and enjoy the natural beauty, including a little bench down the hill for great birdwatching!
