“The house is spacious and well suited for families or larger groups. Its convenient location near the beach and shops was also a highlight. The host was also flexible in approving a request in dates from August. Those are the items we appreciated the most. Unfortunately, there were a few things that left us a bit disappointed with the stay; the interior had a musty smell that caused everyone in our group to cough during the stay. We had to open the windows and turned on the air conditioning to improve the airflow. Although the issue was uncomfortable, it was manageable. More disappointing was the host’s lack of responsiveness, particularly during the severe weather. The day before checkout, I asked several times about a late checkout so we could wait for weather conditions to improve, but we did not receive a response until 5:30 p.m. on the day of checkout. By then, we had already left at the scheduled 10 a.m. checkout time. More timely communication would have made the experience muc”

“From the outside, the cottage looked small but once inside, very spacious, open floor plan. Loved that the master bed & bath were on the other side of the house. We were in Cape May for a wedding when a nor’easter was expected. Experienced no flooding in this neighborhood. Cape May is one of our favs to visit for a day. Overnight charge was a bit pricey but it’s Cape May. This is the first time we had to bring our own bed/pillow sheets as well as bathroom towels. With that said, I would recommend this cottage for a Cape May stay 😊👍🎉”
