“Originally booked a different property 8 months ago for daughter’s wedding. Week of wedding was informed current renters extended their stay so we got moved to a different property so not a good start. Thought our reservation of 8 months ago should trump the current renters but whatever. Was told new property was bigger, nicer, etc. Upon arrival it seemed nice and was big. Throughout stay found things to be dusty, cobwebs on lights, dead flies in window sills, ants in kitchen and master (ant traps in living room should have been a red flag). Smoke detector missing in master, smoke detector hanging by wires in hallway to master. Broken blinds in master with white tape added to cover gaps (odd because plastic blinds are so cheap to replace). Beds were hard as a rock, most of us prefer a firm bed but these were beyond just firm. Hosts were responsive but for the price, not worth it. Bath towels were so thin and tiny! Should have offered some refund when told about the ants but nope!”
